For a video that is almost exclusively images, it is way way too long. Cut it down to a third, and get more lively music behind it would be my advice. The photos are great, and the happy smiley kids are great, but essentially a promo video is an ad, and if you were watching TV and an ad of that length came on, would you watch it through to the end? Shorter, snappier, and perhaps with a voice over.
I hope that does not come across as harsh, because that is not my intention. But you want to make this as strong as you possibly can, and you have some very striking images in there to work with.

Thanks for the advice Tony... I have thicke skin (fat joke lol) so I don't take criticism in a negative way. I will keep your tips in mind on my next vid. I just started taking pics and vids of my performances so another video will be coming soon.
Please people don't worry about offending me, you guys are my peers .

In my opinion, your strongest part of the video is when you are performing the mouth coil, and the kids are laughing hard (1 minute 30 seconds mark). You should lead with that part, and then trim, trim, trim.

It's not BAD, but I would definetly put in more live action segments with the kids reacting & relegate the stills to your balloon-animals. BTW, how long a twist is Cammy?
Everybody wants to beleive.....we just help them along.

Just a suggestion for wardrobe if you're going to be filming more for the site.
You might try a Tie Dye T Shirt,or even just tie dye the back of the shirt so it's not too "busy" in the front. You'd still be comfortable and look a little more special. Since many of these pictures are taken from the back to show the kids, you'd look more fun and still get the advantages of a monochrome front. It looks like you do at least one effect with silk. Show off your silk, it makes a colorful impression. Best thing is you're getting started. Once started is half done. I wish we could all just have a good show and that would be enough but we do need a website. Good luck JJ. -Mary Mowder |

Love the feed back , thanks so much 😊 ...
I spent about 1 hr coming up with a body style for cammy the camel that I was happy with, but I can twist it in under 3 minutes now. I used a app on my iPhone to create the video, can someone share what app or program they use?

My partner Tom used IMovie for the promo video on my website.
