*SCOOP!!!*
Ladies and gentleman, a scoop for one and all!! There's an effect (or more a tool) that will be released soon. It's a switching device that is super clean for switching cards. You produce a case and remove the cards. Inside the box is a folded card. You place the card on the mouth of the box for everyone to see. A card is freely chosen and signed. Low and behold the card on the box is their signed card! Sounds like a lot of switching devices. You can do any number of routines you can do with traditional switching devices. To me the advantage here is how organic and extremely fair it is. It takes up no extra pocket space and it's super practical. I think magicians will love this. It's very clever and fun to perform, completely silent in operation, and nothing is added to the card. The spectators can immediately take the card and unfold it. Nothing to palm off of the switched card. There's no: threads magnets pulleys elastic Sticky stuff mechanical parts breakable bits electronics Its also dead easy to perform the switch itself. It's almost second nature. Here's a video of me performing the switch (from a blue card to red for proof) with nothing edited out. It's even in slow motion and you still see nothing! http://youtu.be/-sjXMwVlHAo |

I should also mention there's nothing left in the box.
