I am aware that PK touches can be done on the spectators hand. I am currently trying this, as performing it like this would benefit my act. However, I am having difficulty finding the right moment for when the magic happens!
Sorry, I can't be more detailed, but I don't want any secrets slipping out. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Feel free to PM me if you don't want to discuss it here! Thanks |

I suggest buying Animated Miracles. I can't remember the name of the author, but there is an effect in there by Lior Manor that will explain what you need to know.

Igal Mesika is the name, but you also need to buy PK Touches by Steve Shaw. You can find it at Banachek website.

Kaos,
If you are talking about the method seen on Derren Brown's Mind Control Series with the Lap Dancers, it isn't PK Touches. Even though PK Touches can be performed on pretty much any part of the body (within reason and with the right misdirection), the effect seen using the hand is likely to be Liors. Both Banachek's PK Touches and Lior's Invisible Touch are brilliant effects but both use very different methods. Lior's effect is very direct and can be performed anywhere with no restrictions; on the other hand (no pun intended) PK Touches is more of a showpiece that requires a certain atmosphere and specific conditions and shouldn't just be performed for the sake of performing it (if that makes sense). Igal Mesika's 'Animated Miracles' does include one of Lior's methods, but it appears it isn't the method Lior uses anymore. It also doesn't appear as clean as the method seen on Derren's show. Lior has mentioned that he will be releasing a book soon containing differing methods to perform the effect, and I think I read somewhere a while back that Kenton will be releasing his method in Kentonism 2. Hi,
I will write few ideas about my work with the touches. With spoons, with the Himber ring, with a billet, with Pk time, with PK touches, and with some more. It will be very long (and not the one page in Animated Miracles). I want to thank one person who pushed me to publish it as soon as I can. This booklet will have a lot of stuff that served me and my friends for many years. I got so much from the magic community, and it is the time to give something back. Thanks. Lior

There is a third way of accomplishing PK Touches.
Do a search on the Café and you will find it! |

Lior,
Are you saying that you combine Invisible Touch with PK Time? Or is your book going to contain your views on the mentioned effects? Mel. P.S. Have you got a date in mind for the release of this book? |

Lior already sugeested using those two effects together in Animated Miracles.

I use it also to band a shadow and many more things. It will be all there in the book.
The date will be very soon. I try to work on it as much as I can and give as much as I can. Thanks. Lior 1A all the way

There seems to be confusion about Derren's PK touches use, simply because he has used various solutions through the shows. The only time I know of Derren using PK touches in his show is possibly with the twins, the first touch they feel before the Knee Touch. Hope that clarifies things a little.

Mel,
You'll probably find that the reason Derrens Lap dancers is so clean is because the "dirty work", though very very subtle, is edited from the footage. THere's no point showing something on TV that will never be recalled in a live performance, but can be rewinded and questioned on a VCR Note that I don't know this as fact, but I'm 99% sure having seen the show.
