White law enforcement does it again to men of color. He was just on his way to work, and the FBI had no business accosting him. Shot him in the back, too, according to his brother that wasn't there. America- what a country!

My next door neighbor wasn't there either and she said it is not true. I do not know who to believe. This maybe one of those times we should wait and see what develops. Just saying.

On Jun 2, 2015, Jack Straw wrote: Yea it is the whole country you are right. Agenda much? So do you claim he was shot or choked? I am curious? Did you READ the article you linked to? Here let me show you the very first two paragraphs. "A man under 24-hour surveillance by anti-terrorism investigators was shot and fatally wounded by a Boston police officer and an FBI agent Tuesday morning as he threatened them with a large, military knife, authorities said. Usaama Rahim, 26, attacked after he was approached in Boston’s Roslindale neighborhood as part of an “investigation that’s been going on for some time by the Joint Terrorism Task Force,” Police Commissioner William B. Evans said at a news conference Tuesday afternoon." Here is a tip for you. No matter WHAT color you are don't threaten cops with a military style knife. Lets look at the next two paragraphs shall we? "“We believed he was a threat,” Evans said. “He was someone we were watching for quite a time. The level of alarm brought us to question him today. I don’t think anybody expected the reaction we got out of him.” Evans said officers retreated when Rahim approached with the knife. With their lives in danger, the officers fired, hitting Rahim with two bullets, one to the torso and one to the abdomen, he said." I have NO IDEA if these are the facts that will play out. I am not going to jump to ANY conclusion. I think that we should wait for the facts to come in before we start race baiting. Oh and before we condemn an entire country. But your mileage may vary. Oh and if you get shot in the abdomen, it makes it tough to breathe.

Everyone that is shot or tussling with law enforcement "can't breathe". At least that's what some law-breaking white cops that I know tell me. Of course, all white cops are law breakers. Probably ALL COPS, period. OF COURSE his family and friends will come to his defense and make all sorts of stupid claims. Phone eyewitnesses are the new thing. I'm sure that his brother and father the Imam knows exactly what he was up to. Danny, please read it again- his brother (I think) SAID that he couldn't breathe. The terrorist said that to the Imam father on the phone! So, therefore, it just MUST be true! Don't you know that that is the new rallying cry? I certainly know it! And Aces, the only better country would be an America without Muslims at all. So does that make it real clear to everyone here? Of course, I don't want to offend Bob (Master Mind Reader) and Jack (Landmark), but I guess that I just blew it.

I'm proud that you associate me with Jack.
What about the thousands of Muslims who are natural born American citizens? What about those who serve in our military, many of whom have given their lives? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/craig-cons......838.html But, yes, you made yourself very clear. |

So I guess he's saying that America would be a better country without the First, Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments. There are a lot of other countries that don't have freedom of religion, the right to due process of law and equal protection under the laws. Perhaps Mr. Straw would find one of those places more to his liking.

As of 2006, 212 Muslim American soldiers have been awarded combat action medals for their heroism in Iraq and Afghanistan. Too bad that some want them thrown out of America.

The Black Flag of Isis will fly over The White House. And those are NOT my words.
I have no desire for that. I'm an Atheist. Or an Agnostic. I'm not sure. Bob, it's impossible to weed out all of the bad ones, so I'd rather get rid of them all. Just like they'd get rid of both you AND me. Their attitude has influenced my attitude. That attitude did NOT exist before September 11th. I was a Boy Scout with 2 Muslim brothers, and we were good friends. I knew them for 7 years. Never saw them pull out a prayer rug once. We listened to Pink Floyd and The Allman Brothers, went camping, hiked the Appalachian Trail, played soccer, sang Kumbayah, and said the Pledge of Allegiance. One of them ended up having a career as a Navy Officer. So I have no answer to that conundrum. Yes, these are the only two Muslims that I was actually FRIENDS with, rather than just being my local gas station attendant. But I actually was friends with them. To be friends, you have to have some things in common. I don't have much in common with many other Muslims. Do you? How many Muslim friends do you have? I mean, real Muslim friends, not the guy at the 7-11. Notice how I am not insulting them by writing "muslims" with a lower case m. That I won't do. I was there on September 11th. That changed my attitude big time. Lost my job. And because of that, I lost my house. Never quite recovered from all three of them- the WTC, the job, and the house. Almost lost my family too, because time spent in a shelter is pretty tough on a family with two young kids. I now regularly pass by 4 different streets that have been named after people that died that day. How many do you pass by every day? How did it affect you, Bob? And don't worry NYC Twister- I don't come down here very often.

I don't see myself as sad and bitter, either. I told you some of what happened to me. Am I not allowed to use that to mold my opinions? I was there- not in the buildings, you understand, but very close. I did not go home for 3 days. It affected me forever. I assume that you live in NYC. I also assume that you were playing with Kenner Star Wars action figures in 2001, and that Daddy came home from work that day. If he hadn't, I'm sure that you'd be pretty bitter today, no?

What about the families of the 60 innocent Muslims who died near ground zero on 9/11? Do you think they hate all Muslims now? Should they also be forced to leave the country?

It just dawned on me exactly who NYC Twister is.
He IS that guy in the Twilight Zone. He doesn't agree with me, so I must go. No room for me here. I'm obsolete. Well, Twister, when you're ready to take care of me, the rule is, I get to choose my own method of death. I'd definitely like you to come and sit with me and talk a while before I go. All those Science Fiction guys that I used to love really did predict the future. And I thought it could never happen.
