Fellow Magicians/Illusionists
i am searching for an illusion where the groom ( because it will be performed at a wedding) appears , but most of my research landed at illusions where it cannot be performed surrounded by the invitees ! is their any illusion where the person/bride can appear while being surrounded by audiences ? Thanks

An OpArt can be used to appear a person when you perform it backwards.
Smoke Chambers are options, too. Crystal Casket? Probably a larger one for the groom. Stack of Boxes. John Taylor's original Dimensional appearance. (I can't remember the right name.) |

There is a reason Stage Illusions are performed on a stage, besides the visual element. Having said that, most self contained illusions can be wheeled out ready to be performed on stage. Some can be surrounded, like in a theater in the round. I don't know anyone that has a working knowledge of all the illusions that would fit that category. Hopefully, someone will offer some examples. Illusions are not premade, so it may take a year or two to build, and a lot of money.
The purpose of magic and being a magician, is that the magician has the magical power, not the box. So there are NO magic illusion boxes that anyone can present. Like your example of "attendees" to an event. That is like asking is there a musical instrument that can be handed to anyone, and they play it like an expert virtuoso. There are some consultants in the magic field, if you are willing to pay their fees for their knowledge. |

Bryces Screen, the fold up version. You see them often second hand or even new. Less than $1000.00 Can be done surrounded.

Flambè is great if you have the $$$. There was also one called the flip-switch From Creative Magic that could work if you were on a tight budget.

I don't think Flip Switch can be done surrounded, can it?? That is why I suggested their screen illusion.
