I'm a bit late to this but what an absolutely incredible and refreshing lecture. The surprise endings were just brilliant and it was lovely to see someone teaching material they use to make a living. I'll definitely be buying bairn now.

The only thing inwomder is who ken was referring to selling over priced unusable material???

One of the best lectures I've seen from penguin.

Ken, I just watched the video, and I have to agree with Paul...one of the more fun and entertaining lectures, but more importantly, the material was absolutely brilliant! I am quite literally working out ways to add some of this into my own performing style.

Ken is the man, I'm currently using a few of his routines in my show.

Why?

Because they are always top quality workers that have a huge impact and when performing them I know that they are an excellent canvas to paint my stage personality upon.

Great work Ken, it's been so great getting to know you after watching you grow the last five or six years.

Hi guys, just came across this. Thank you so much.

I'm so pleased to read that you found the material interesting and of use to you.

For me, it's taken for granted that we will do impossible things, but how we do them, the personality and the framing is what takes them to the next level.

I'd love to hear about what anyone does with these routines, and in which new directions you take them.

Just downloaded this last night and I am now a huge fan of Kem Dyne.

Easily one of the best taught and most content rich mentalism lectures ever on penguin - just fab all the way!

E1 is a showstopper and I love the whole premise and clever method. Ken has a fantastic witty style that makes him a delight to watch.

Thank you Ken Dyne. I will be picking up your newest book before end of year too - your material is way too commercial and usable to pass up.

Regarding "Mr Golden Ball" you could let the audience create the questions. That involves everyone in a quiet funny way!

Interesting idea Kiki. It could be interesting, or you could be met with silence, or something really inappropriate or, worse...really boring. I think if managed correctly though this would be great!

I don´t know if "quiet funny" is the right english term. What I wanted to say is "very funny".

Ken gave a FANTASTIC lecture and is still one of my favorite performers. If you liked this lecture, pick up a copy of Bairn (though it might be tough to find now). His book is fantastic and really offers not only great material, but a performance insight and philosophy that is missing in most other books of this type. His thoughts on the importance of revealing information are truly important.

Best,

Atlas

Plus he’s an all round nice guy who’s really too generous with his ideas with me; some of which regularly appear in my own show.
