Hello there I recently built this illusion but now my parents want their living room back and I am looking to sell it but I need its name first
the effect is this; the magician climbs some stairs and gets into a box which is locked and sealed the "stairs" are wheeled away the magician appears at the back of the theatre Ant help would be gratefully accepted Tom |

Well the illusion in itself can be called pretty much anything but "deceptive steps" would be accurate.

I agree. The names of most grand illusion items are just part of the misdirection. Bases and steps are key. The rest is just in keeping with tonight's theme. What you have is a good utility prop that most illusionists would use seveal different ways. (You can fill a top too!) Just be careful who you show and be honest with real prospects. Remember too, that many magicians find they must trade in their shows for some reason or another. What do you want next?

Deception Steps, we use them for the cane cabinet illusion.If you cabinet had about 15 holes in it (5 per side) and one on the top you would weem to have a cane cabinet.Ther are a lot of uses for the steps however you might want to keep them for a while and try some new ideas with them.
