IMAGINE learning the subtle art of Hellstromism (Contact Mind Reading), as well as truly intuitive and oracular mind reading principles by the author of Thought Veil, Full Contact Mind Reading, Psycho Spiritual Mentalism, Life Force Theater, etc... IMAGINE learning how to make people react to you in seemingly uncontrollable or even predictable ways while changing their thought patterns in demonstrably bizarre and inexplicable ways by the author of Bridge, Pygmalion Effects, & The Ant Queen... Now, guess what...? It has become real. Thanks for putting this up, Christopher. I predict (!) this will be an epic event. The three of us are all meeting next week in DC to discuss all the things that will make what we are about to do, a TOP SHELF SECRETS event, without question. If you have ever considered investing into a seminar to learn absolute TOP SHELF SECRETS, this is your chance to be there in LAS VEGAS when it all BEGINS.
http://cfbproductions.tixclix.com/1459 There is about one month to go before the special convention rate for the hotel ends. Meet us in Las Vegas, and spend each day learning hands-on truly cutting-edge thinking and practical principles regarding some of the most unusual and mysterious demonstrations still witnessed today as miracles in many cultures. Indeed they are miraculous. In many ways, it is (as Aaron Alexander puts it "A look at the psychology of the phenomenon of faith healing and other similar ritual based anomalies, while exploring the many implications thereof." And then there is obviously lots to do and see in Las Vegas at night... Alain Nu |

Man, what a lineup. Wish I could be there. I think this will go down as one of those historical moments that will change the way attendees perform for the better.

I'm still just getting started in actually performing so this is well beyond me, but if I were currently a performer and could afford it this would be a no-brainer!

Before people entrust Jerome Finley with more advance money, has he delivered the videos he pre-sold yet?

I really am sorry to hear of all the recent events surrounding Jerome’s pre-order which has yet to be fulfilled. Those who know me well, also know that I am a close friend of Jerome’s. I can fully empathize with the frustration you must all feel with regards to an obvious social contract of the promise of the “pre-order”.
Intuitively, I was a little worried about Jerome, but knowing him as I do, I am quite certain that his lack of response is from being overwhelmed by needing to finish his project and get it out the door. As much as those of you (who are still waiting for his video to be sent to you) may feel upset by all of this non-communicaton and what appears to be a lack of professionalism, please let me assure you that Jerome is not a con-artist. He IS an ARTIST, however. And as such, there are ocasional set-backs based on sometimes unfortunate personal circumstances. I am quite certain that this situation is one of those instances. As Jerome’s partner in our upcoming PSIposium in Las Vegas, please know that this was an idea which both Jerome and I have been talking about for some time, since the discontinuation of my STM (metal bending) workshop. Furthermore PSIposium is a professionally produced top-shelf workshop which not only reveals the most secret work of Jerome’s, but also Aaron Alexander’s and mine. Those who have anything outstanding of Jerome’s, but who are forgivingly curious about joining us at PSIposium, will receive double the refund (off the cost of the workshop) just for joining us in good spirit. The rest of you who cannot (or will not) attend for whatever reason, but who are owed money (or product), feel free to contact me privately at alainnu@gmail.com and we will come up with a way to (at least temporarily) appease your frustrations about this little fiasco. Back to PSIposium, this event will mark the first event of hopefully a few bewteen Jerome, Aaron and I (possibly other special guests). We understand that this is a pricey event, but it is positioned to become a very exclusive hands-on workshop with many perks. It is also NOT just about sharing secret ideas. It is about the fusion of what we do through a shaman’s perspective. It is a performance workshop on mystical secrets combined with new ideas based on ancient concepts. We believe our participants will be given far more than their money’s worth once all the dust settles. Furthermore, for those who cannot afford such higher-end events, our plan was not to position ourselves to be completely out-of-reach from our colleagues, but to simply have a format by which to present a top-shelf event as PSIposium. But our overall plan is to also work on a few projects which are more in reach for other enthusiasts and practitioners. All of this will take a little time, but we believe that our current alliance is a strong one which will be sure to produce exceptionally creative, practical, and theatrically astonishing ideas just through the mere alliance. If you have ever read any of Jerome’s work, you already know how special it is. Please accept my apology for this current state of affairs, but allow me to reassure you in that I stand by my friend as one who would never have the intention to do anything irresponsible without something personally troubling having happened. Your orders will be fulfilled, if you still want it. You can always get your money back if all of this has frustrated you beyond help. Nonetheless, so long as you provide proof of purchase of Jerome’s video, if you are interested in spending time with us at the first PSIvention in Las Vegas Aug 13 through 15, we will offer you a double-refund off our registration fee. My best, Alain Nu |

I have physically met and/or dealt with all three of these individuals on more than one occasion. All three have only ever been straight forward. I am one of Jerome's preorder customers as well, and he has only been supportive in the past. I fully trust that he will deliver, or compensate us in some way. He'd ruin everything he has come to represent if he does otherwise.
I cannot recommend working with these guys highly enough. Yes, it's pricey. Just remember the caliber of material and the exclusivity of the instruction. Not to mention, these guys often comp other things as well as develop face to face, personal relationships with their students and peers. It's a good bet that these workshops will spark whole new directions and life changes in your art. Bottom line. If you're on the fence...go!! Zac |

Hello:
Alain Nu is one of my favorite creators, performers, and thinkers. His material is always top notch and workable. Of the three hosting the event Alain in the only one I personally know. With that said if Alain was the only one of the three the investment would still be a bargain. If you have any interest in the real work I would make sure you do what you need to do and attend this event. Sincerely, Eric Anderson |

Hello friends,
Alain Nu here. Thought I would provide an update, for those who may be interested. So, FYI: 1. Psyposium IS happening. Jerome Finley will be there (in fact, he is traveling with me at this very moment). I am completely committed to what we will be offering here. Nothing else is like it, and the material is deeper in content than anything else you can find out there, and the strength of the material itself borders on reality-shifting and positive transformation. 2. Jerome has gotten back on track with an updated timeline to make things right for his video project. If you are one of those who ordered his video, you have probably already been updated by now. 3. Some of you know that I also flew Aaron out here awhile back to put him and his material to the test in practically every possible situation to see if he was the real thing. Anyone who has met the guy while here can tell you that he has passed these tests with flying colors. Of course, reviewers have already given his material impressively high marks, but this will be your FIRST CHANCE to learn from him, the many facets of his techniques directly. I hope that clears things up. Let's remember that we are often not just talking about the latest prop on these forums. We are dealing with people, specifically people who push the envelope in every way possible and who we all have the privilege of learning from. I stand by the fact that I see Jerome as a true creative genius who has the mind and energy of no other. If you have ever seen him at work you will have to give him that. Like many creative types, he has been going through more difficult times recently. But his journey is far from over, and I plan to be there supporting him as long as I possibly can. I will provide some updates about the event over the coming days. For anyone who is on the fence about this workshop, send me an email directly at alainnu@gmail.com and I will give you the full details and, for the next few days, a discount/scholarship as a thanks for being a part of this journey. Be well, Alain Nu |

I remember hearing about a workshop that was supposed to involve Alain Nu, Jerome Finley, and Neal Scryer, which would be taking place in D.C., I believe in July. However, no information about that surfaced since it was first mentioned earlier in the year.
Is this 'PSIposium' event taking the place of that? Or is the Nu/Finley/Scryer workshop being postponed until after this event?

Hi,
Originally, Jerome and I were supposed to do it with Scryer, then Scryer backed out and Peter Turner was going to step in. After things got too complicated with making sure we could bring Peter in from the UK to Vegas, we went with Aaron Alexander, who we think is a perfect candidate, especially because the direction we are all exploring has many similarities (despite its unique differences). We still hope to work with Peter Turner and Neal Scryer in the future, so let's not rule those out for future workshops. We also want to work with Enrique Enriquez. For now, Jerome and I have just settled back here in VA/DC after a very successful (not live online, but filmed in front of a live audience) lecture and week-long filming project with Penguin in Columbus, OH. We have some preparing here that we need to do before leaving for Las Vegas, but we do plan to be there by Wednesday. 3 workshops begin on Aug 13 (including my metal bending systems and philosophies), and then on August 14 and Aug 15 we each plan to offer specialty workshops that involve psychic Q&A "hot readings", no-compromise trance techniques and demonstrations, shamanic healing, creative ideo-motor effects and MORE... We have a healthy-sized enthusiastic group and we are excited to be working with them. I will be introducing a last minute "special guest" friend of mine, Col. John B. Alexander (US Army), who managed "Project Jedi," among other curious personal endeavors, among which was to visit with well over 20 different shamanic tribes all over the world, including Papua New Guinea, Upper Mongolia, and throughout South America. If you are interested in joining Aaron Alexander, Jerome Finley and me at Sunset Station at the last minute, contact me directly at alainnu@gmail.com, and get ready for an experience that will attempt to move beyond mere illusion...! |

If the workshop was being done in D.C. or on the East coast, I'd sign up in a second. But can't fly out West right now. Believe me, I'd love to go, and hopefully you guys bring this same PSIposium lineup workshop out East.

When Alan says
get ready for an experience that will attempt to move beyond mere illusion...! Does no one else get worriedd? Magic is pretend and tricks and just meant to be fun and if you are doing healing and other things mentioned above then I don't think this is the place to advertise it. Personally I'd leave that sort of thing to professionals with qualifications and governing bodies that deal with that section of industry. I'm surprised that nobody else hassaid simething I can't be the only one who sees things this way??? |

On Aug 9, 2015, CharlieThomms wrote: Magic, as most people see it, is just pretend. This workshop is a workshop in which pretend things are imagined to be real, and it is also a workshop in which that is the exploration. My theory is the performance of magic comes from a far deeper place than what one might diminish the importance of by labeling it as "just pretend." This is not a workshop in which anyone will try to change what someone might already believe to be true. This workshop is designed to approach such topics intelligently and inquisitively. Regarding the "professionals that deal with that section of the industry," such people are invited to our seminar. A top-level and very prolific neuro-scientist, Dr Richard Restak is one of my friends who has been helping me develop a way to present and observe how this thinking can be applied. Col. John B. Alexander is another full-time researcher- not a performing magician. This is a workshop that will open the discussion of specialized ways to amaze people like a magician might, but then go deeper than that, it is a workshop that teaches you the insight of "a modern shaman" which possesses a much more powerful way of appreciating mystery, magic, the mind and reality. Besides being an author and a showman, I am a certified hypnotist/hypnotherapist and my connections in this world are pretty vast. So, professionally speaking, I think what we are conducting has about as much legitimacy as you can give to such a workshop. I believe that to diminish the most powerful acts of what we do as "just pretend" and "just for fun" edits out the main part of the subject matter that may be its most important, useful and applicable ability and power. I am also willing to state that I may be wrong, but I have a strong feeling that I will find more here (where most magicians choose not to touch for fear of being controversial or appearing ignorant) than I even think I might. What is there to be so wary of? We are all adults here. The reason why this is posted on the magic Café is obviously because of its close relationship with magic, mentalism and mystery in general. I would hope that magicians may one day see the importance of approaching such topics intelligently and fearlessly. |

CharlieThomms, I will not say you are the ONLY one, but I will suggest that a myopic ideal of magic serves no one. Magic, in all it's flavors, covers the breadth of human existence...and suggesting that aspects of it should "left to the professionals" is not knowing who you're conversing with. When it comes to pros, these gents define the word. Alain has accurately characterized his own accomplishments and credentials, and the others have similar. That said, there is no "qualification" or "union backed licence" to being a magician of any stripe, OTHER than peer respect and review...and these guys have that in spades. Magic is FAR more than tricks and fun in the same way the universe is more than to the moon and back.
