Hey everybody
There are so many finger tip coins across routines out there, 99 perfect of which look the same. To me most of them can be so boring, every magician has to try and sell his version, which is almost always identical to the other thousands of routines out there, I'm just so tired of these routines, anyone with me?
The last time I've seen such routine and was genuinely amazed was when Homer Liwag's amazing "Coin One" came out.
Well that's the end of the finger tip coins across rant for now...
So I just ran into a routine by Al Schneider, I don't even know the name of the routine, well you know what? Just see for yourself!

I had to share this wonderful routine
Only read after watching the routine:

To me it felt like a finger tip coins across routine, even though it can also be described as a penetration routine, perhaps a mixture of both.
Anyway, the result is an amazing routine, and I can't wait to try and play around with it!

Daniel, Al discusses the routine pretty extensively in his book "Al Schneider Magic". (Which is worth its weight in silver coins!)

Osmosis is an amazing routine, very magical, and not easy.

Curious---Why not just post about osmosis? Why the rant on three fly? I've noticed a trend toward that kind of thing, knock something and then promote something else.

Sales ...are you tired of the same old a? Then look at this exciting new b!
Establish context, elicit negatives then offer alternative.
a propulsion strategy using anchors. One negative "away from" and a presumed positive "toward"

Anyway, Al's version of a classic has its merits. Enjoy

The reason I talked about Three Fly before talking about Osmosis, is because that routine looks a lot like a finger tip coins across routine in some ways, so I chose to look at it like a sort of completely new approach to the concept of "Three Fly".

It does sort of look that way, and it's well worth the effort.

Al Schneider ´s "Osmosis" looks very good , but my absolute favorite is Chris Power's "Coins Through Silk" routine.

Al's looks great when the coin pops thru. The clean-up for each is a bit... questionable to me.

Here's Ammar's version which I've done many times strolling, etc.
I found it to be an excellent trick and the silk draws a lot of attention as it flutters down when you display it.

Both Ammar's and Powers' versions have their benefits.

I have to agree about the Ammar routine. I saw him do it live (I was in the front row) here in Hot Springs (Maxwell Blade's Weekend of Wonder) two years ago. Very smooth.

Along with the ninja rings and professor's NM, I think Ammar's routine is one of the best strolling tricks you can learn.

Aside from packing very small, and being able to hand out the props, it can be done for 1 person in close quarters or it can play very large for 20 due to the visual nature of the silk.
