This was THE book back when. Is there a more comprehensive one available?

No. This book is evergreen. It's still THE book on sponge ball magic.

Patrick Page's cheap DVD is a great resource.
Carney's 2 ball routine in Carneycopia is another. The Sanada Gimmick DVD had a wonderful Slydini-esque balls to box routine. Capehart's 2 ball routine was an eye-opener of fun and games and nonsense and essentially only 1 move/sleight in the entire 5 minute routine. I've never been a fan of encyclopedic offerings with very few exceptions. Certainly very comprehensive but to be honest, I didn't get a lot out of it. Especially at the price. As Leo says, it is THE book on spongeballs. No doubt about that.

What about Daryl's four DVDs on sponge balls? I don't have them yet, but they are on my list.

Hi Ray--I believe the OP wanted to know if there was a more comprehensive book. I know that there is a DVD version of the Garcia book.

There is a DVD set called "The Encyclopedia of Sponge Ball Magic" (with Ben Salinas), but it is NOT related in any way to Garcia's book.

That's the one J-Mac! I thought it might be related to Garcia's book. I know that Simon Lovell did a Million Dollar Card Secrets DVD patterned after that book.
