How many would recommend Johnson Magic Products - http://www.johnsonmagicproducts.com/shop/index.php - for their coin magic.
I have not bought anything from JMP but am planning to buy several stuff. Would like to hear your thoughts on JMP's products. Thanks for the help, guys! |

Most of my coin gaffs come from Johnson. I have the Coin Off Ribbon, the Magnetic Silver & Copper, Eisenhower Dollar, Kennedy Half, English Penny and American Quarter Expanded Shells, the Jardine Ellis Ring, the Stack of Quarters, the Hopping Half, the Folding Half and Quarter, both, and the Chinatown Half. I also have Silver Extraction, but I don't see that one there any more.
I love my Johnson Gaffs! I have dealt with them since the 1970's! Doug |

This alone has sold me into going Johnson! Alright. Gonna make my purchase of a S&S set now.
Doug, you have a PM |

They have a lifetime guarantee on their products, too. If anything ever breaks or goes bad, they'll replace it.

Their coin gaffs are pretty descent. I did not expect those good qualities qualities but when I first saw Johnson Clad [s, I was quite impressed.

I'm new to this. Is this a Scotch & Soda set? |

I don't understand why Copper/Silver coin needs a bang ring. But I guess it is a Scotch Soda set. You might have to contact them for specification though.

I have it. Yes, it's just like a Scotch & Soda, in that it is locking (not loose), hence the need for a bang ring. The only difference is simply that it uses an English penny, instead of a Mexican 20 centavos coin. Otherwise, same basic effect.

Also good to check if an extra English penny is included or not, it would be nice to have to allow for more effects.

Thanks for the info, Karnak.
Videoman, yes, I will write in here once I get my reply from JMP. |

The set, as I bought it long ago, consists of an unexpanded half dollar [ , a shaved-down but otherwise regular English penny that fits the [ loosely, and a silver/copper insert that fits the shell tightly ("locking," needing a bang ring to remove).

Johnson does put out quality work, although I think their flipper is still an original design. There's been much improvement since then.

I have just made a purchase for 3 different items from JMP. I can't wait to experiment new routines with them.

Ultimate Silver & Copper with Brass Bang Ring? I don't have that. I like the idea. You could use it as an S&S I guess. I have the Vodka & Orange Juice version:

I got a few things from him, the Eisenhower expanded [ and the half dollar copper/silver coin where great quality. There half dollar expanded [ was also good, much better coverage than a tango one I had, about 80-90% vs around 50%.

There are some really good testimonies here.
I am glad I went with it and bought four products from Johnson. They have now been shipped and will probably reach me in less than 2 weeks. I will post my experience with the coins later when I get them. |
