Ranwill knows the only way to educate or enlighten someone who does not agree with his point of view, is through insults and name calling.
Funny thing is, I have not stated anywhere on the Café what I believe about Jade Helm 15, I have only let other's know about it and have asked for their opinions. The sad fact is, I don't have many beliefs in ANYTHING! Most of my adult life I have watched facts turn into falsehood, falsehood turn into fact. Coffee is bad for you. Coffee is good for you, then the cycle starts all over again. I guess I'll only drink coffee when it's good for me, then switch to tea when coffee is bad again. Pluto is a planet. Pluto is not a planet. What is Pluto this week? Many People insist that simply asking a question, equates belief. I read the King James Bible, The Book of Mormon and the Koran. Yes I have these. Please tell me what my Religion is. I'm sure you can help me out here. Thanks in advance. I'd be willing to bet that Randwill really is a nice guy in Person. Then again he might be a lonely guy with the computer as his only Friend. I don't know. I have never met him. Freedom of Speech is one thing I bet we both agree with. -Iven

My sentence; "Apparently Fox News and other conservative media have the nation's angry Grandpas all stirred up over this, convincing them that this is the beginning of Obama coming to take away their guns and Bibles." does not name-call or insult anyone. Unless you think 'Grandpa' is pejorative, which I certainly don't, being of Grandpa age myself. It is just my way of saying that some people out there are buying into the nutty narratives being fed them by various conservative media outlets.
Heck, even The Daily News calls it 'zany'. "Jade Helm 15 conspiracy theorists predict government death squads, ice cream truck morgues, apocalyptic asteroid" http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national.......2291956 Edited to add - Please quote the exact sentence where I 'dissed' anyone's religion. |

Perhaps Israel's correspondent misspoke; he (or she, depending on sex) may have meant that your comments were beside you. Prepositions can be tricky.
As you can see, your avatar (arguably, you) is on the left, while your comments are on the right. Your posts, of course, are beneath you. |

I wonder how small a Human must be in order to no longer qualify as Human. Can a planet get so big that it no longer qualifies as a planet? I don't think I'll ever get to visit Pluto, so I guess it really doesn't matter. -Iven

Jade Helm started the same day that Amoazon had their "Prime Day" and WalMart had their Christmas in July sale. Coincidence? I think it was misdirection to keep us from keeping an eye on things.
And to lower our defenses against dragons and Bigfoot.

We did a similar operation over 50 years ago, Operation Swift Strike. Real wars aren't fought on military bases so why should training be restricted to that environment?

I'm on vacation in my home state of Washington. The folks here were largely liberal and have been for a long time. Recently they moved a couple of trains filled with hundreds if not thousands of armored vehicles through town on the rail system and even more vehicles on Interstate 5.
Why are all of these vehicles here? Are they expecting an invading army HERE? What's this RIOT gear thing they ask? Are they stopping riots in Iraq with our US soldiers? Or where? The USA has about 1,000 bases in other countries where the fighting should take place. Why not train them THERE? The locals here, although still somewhat liberal (Not my Dad) wonder why so many troops need to be trained HERE?
