Hello-
I have been out of magic for awhile and have am getting back into it now that my kids are grown and I have more time. Anyway I found a deck in my briefcase with that errantly didn't label and it consists of all duplicate pairs of cards. No Long/short no Rough/Smooth. Just 26 pairs of matching cards. Can anyone point me to what this deck is called so I can try to find a use for it? Does it have a name? T.I.A. |

Card shark, makers of Phoebix decks, now has a double decker deck. 104 ultra thin cards that fit into a regular pack.

The Mene Tekel deck should have pairs of cards, but one trimmed slightly shorter than the other. Are you sure the cards are exactly the same length?

Jim,
You're correct. My Mene Tekel deck is trimmed. Every 2nd card.

Not all Mene-Tekel decks are long/short, which is why I suggested a "version" of the Mene-Tekel.

It was an Alakazam gaff deck release years ago. Can't remember the name now. A huge improvement on this effect is the MRD deck by Liam Montier. My favourite gaff deck.

There are a variety of mene tekel decks: some short/long, some not. Some are roughed, some not

Also, it could be like a particular type of Mene-Tekel deck. I read someplace there's different variations.
