A sticky post on this forum tells us that the staff is committed to making this forum be the best it can be -- and my sense is that you're doing a great job of reaching that goal.
But there's another side to that question: What are things members can do to serve the Magic Café? What does it mean to be a good citizen of the Magic Café? What are things we can do to make the place useful, and to give your sponsors the sense that they are receiving good value for their dollars? How can we help you help us? (If there's already a thread for this, please point me to it.)
It's still magic even if you know how it's done.

Thank you for the kind words, we do what we can. As far as your questions, there are several threads in the topic just above this one, "When dining with us...". Those are the general guidelines of 'good' behavior. In addition, because all of us here have full-time jobs and aren't here all the time, monitoring the boards is very difficult, if not impossible, and we depend on members to bring issues to us so we can deal with them. You are essentially, our eyes for what we don't see. If you see something you feel steps outside the boundaries, you can report any post by clicking on the "Report This Post" button found on every post. Fill out the form telling us what concerns you or your request and it will be sent to a special section of the Café for us to review these reports. Finally, if you click on an advertisement, be sure and tell the vendor you found through their ad here on the Café. We and the vendor will both appreciate it.
Hope this answers your questions. Feel free to PM any of the staff members if you have to talk to us.
Coram Deo
