Is the morgan Oxf ] shimmed, and also what % coverage does it offer? My swadlings deep dish has 99.7 % coverage which I great. But I am not pleased with the face or date. Doesn't match too well my other coins. Is the flipper magnet or just shimmed? Is any one interested in a sale or trade? I have lots of non coin effects to offer. Pm me if interested in making a deal or just to talk magic!

I have a Schoolcraft WL OXF but to be honest I haven't used it in quite a while so I'd have to dig it out to really answer your questions but IIRC the coverage is pretty typical as you'd expect from any quality coin gaffer. Not as good as a Swadling deep dish (which I also have) but certainly good enough for most any use.
The ] is shimmed and the flipper has a magnet. The idea is that they are "tuned" to cling together very lightly so as to remain nested if you toss them in the air or from hand to hand, yet they will still separate very easily. If you'd be interested in a WL rather than a Morgan I would probably sell my OXF set as I never use it. |
