Even when a small group formed into a community that could sustain itself, it had government.
When they made common agreement not to kill breeding animals during the hunt, that there might be offspring to hunt the following year, or that when they harvested wild growing yams they should leave some to sprout and provide next years crop, or they decided to all always bathe downstream from where they took drinking water - that was government. |

People will still want buildings and computers to exist and they will build them. "voluntarily", just like they build your church. The difference is you won't have to do things (work) that don't need to be done (stocking milk only to throw it away a day later) solely for the purpose of having a "job". We are creating work that doesn't need to be done - pure stupidity on any level!! For the overall majority of the Earth's population, the quality of life without money would be vastly superior to what it is today. Only people that take advantage of other people will see their quality of life decrease. -JoeJoe

Your "free world charter" is simply a pale imitation of some noble ideas that were put to paper in the second half of the 18th Century. |

Why does a community have to be ruled for "profit" and not by "love"?? I don't know what life is like in your part of the world, but here in America people are being arrested for giving food to the homeless - the government is trying to make it so that the only way to obtain food is to buy, sell, or trade it. That is not "community" - not by any stretch of the imagination!! -JoeJoe

We live in a world where men and women kill each other for the sole purpose of "insurance money". In a free world ... people don't marry, they "mate". -JoeJoe

I think your dissatisfaction relates to more than just money. You seem to challenge the ability of any individual to "own" anything - i.e., no personal property rights -- of an individual to excel, to achieve personal excellence, where all value (if we can call it that) is measured in terms of the benefit to the community. History has presented a wide variety of these communes, all of which have pretty much failed.
I believe in individualism, which I think is fundamentally at odds with your way of thinking. If I achieve excellence in something, I would want to benefit personally from that excellence in some way. I would not want to squander that achievement by giving it away to people who are failing at life. |

I think I've made it very clear that individuals have property rights in a free world, you just can't comphend any other way to obtain them other than the use of money.
Every flower in a field attempts to reach the heavens and present it's colors as bright as possible - I wouldn't expect any less of any human being. In a free world, every individual will be free to achieve excellence - not just those that can afford to. These people you look down on because they lack money are not failing at "life" ... they are failing at the "system". There is HUGE difference! That is why some of the poorest people on Earth are also the happiest while some of the richest people are the most miserable. Like I already pointed out, poor people don't jump from skyscrapers when the stock market crashes. -JoeJoe
