This is a great trick, with an amazing kicker. Do you guys think that making the queens appear reversed in deck after the aces showing up will weaken the kicker and ruin the the trick? Thanks for your help in advance. See you!!!

I'm not familiar with that one, though I'm a fan of One Degree. What do you think? Do you think it adds magic to the effect? Is there a reason for the queens to do that?

In the DVD he uses Jacks and instead of queens and "? cards" instead of aces.
I prefer using Queens and Aces. I've been thinking about this effect and making the queens appear in the middle of the deck before revealing the Aces. I'd like to here others point of view. Here's a link for a speechless performance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lox5w8VWq3I |

Something struck me as odd about this---After such a clear and fair initial layout of the queens, they are turned face down and placed back on the deck.
After that it looks great. |

I'm sure he is quite skilled, but that part kind of ruined it for me, but I don't think any real people would notice, given proper presentation and all.

I don't think this is ideally set to music, which caused me to focus on the extremely mannered handling that pervades throughout the entire routine, whereas I suspect the performer might be able to cause things to appear more natural and motivated were he speaking. Even then, for all but the most skilled performers it seems unavoidable that it comes off too flourishy.

R.E. Byrnes, what about making the queens appear reversed in the deck after the aces showed up? Do you think it's a good touch or it'll weaken the effect?
