Hopefully durability won't be an issue. Hopefully replacement gimmicks can be offered at a discount (big/small doesn't matter).
I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death my right to say "scr*w you" if you persist. [Voltaire ]

I just feel like with ESP symbols it would be more direct: "Choose one of these symbols and the one you choose will be in my hand." (Of course I wouldn't use this presentation. Lol) On the other hand I guess you can justify the selection process very easily and have a great out come as well. To each his own I guess |

The E process required is about as minimal as you can get with this, only one question is required. I think this is a great prop if you perform regularly. For hobbyists who perform occasionally there is a little bit of memorization required (not difficult) and the required "move" is a bit knacky, at least for me. It's one of those simple yet difficult things that many won't ever have a bit of trouble with and will do it consistently flawless from the get go. While for others it will be the type of thing that if not performed regularly they may lose confidence and not feel 100% sure fire with it. I would love to see a version 2 of this that was taken to the next level with a method that could somehow clue you in that you were spot on before the reveal. I would get one for sure, and it seems like it would be possible to do. In fact, I was going to play around with doing that before I sold mine and now I kind of wish I would have. |

Just got this and really like it.
Was a bit off put by the gimmick at first but it is actually really easy to handle and done in a not so bright bar I am sure this will get a good reaction. |

One of my shows went a little too quickly the other night so I closed with this to essentially fill time. I performed it in front of a crowd of over 300...it killed.

One and Only, Inferno, and Invisible card and all too similar. In the eyes of the spectator the effect is still the same. I'd rather do Inferno and have a card that I can hand out for examination. I would imagine you could do this with one and only as well.

I disagree. Inferno is okay but Invisible Card is astounding. Other than not being able to hand out the card it's light years more devious than Inferno and it's essentially instantly resettable with a different outcome numerous times. One of the best things I've bought recently though it takes more practice than Inferno for sure.

Wow that blew my mind, after some time I have encountered an effect that really seems absolutely fantastic n I love love to purchase this effect in the near future.

I was not going to purchase this but I believe Ekaterina gives practical reviews so I will give it a shot

I purchased this trick on inexpensive whim. I am always looking for effects that I can do quickly with very few props to carry around. I perform this as an invisible deck. I have spectator toss the invisible folded card back toward me and then produce the card at my fingertips. I more or less pretend that this is the end of the trick and act indignantly when they want to see proof of the card's identity. This is all sort of tongue-in-cheek but I think it takes the heat off the prop. When I display the value of the card it is icing on the cake. It is expensive but has worked for me. The criticisms are valid. The card cannot be shown for a long period of time, it certainly can't be examined and the display is not really natural however it works for the way I use it and has been effective in my amateur walk around. For me this is more effective than Inferno to which it has been compared. I have both. Interestingly, no one ever asked to see the card when I did Inferno although I did hand it to them

I bought this and road tested it last weekend and the reactions were excellent. I love this because it's small and practical (no reset), and you only have one equivoque (and it's well motivated) so the process seems totally fair. If you're a purist and want to hand the card out for examination, you could use a "Q" index in your pants pocket. As you're putting the card away it's a simple matter of retrieving the correct folded card. Personally, I doubt I'd ever do it this way but if you wanted to give the card away as souvenir it is a viable option.

I feel like this is meant to be like invisible deck but with restriction. Would like to know if other people feel the same. Would lay people appreciate this more than an invisible deck?

You can't go wrong with an invisible deck. This of course takes a little less pocket space, does not exactly feel like another card trick and because it ends with the display of a single card is I think a more dramatic image (if not a better trick) than the invisible deck. I could easily see this as an opener for a parlor type show.

Great concept. Clearly it's difficult to make such a gimmick look like a single card - perhaps this is the first iteration of something which will get thinner, less knacky, etc.

As long as you pay attention to covering the sides while unfolding the card the illusion looks perfect. And when the card is pointed directly at the spectator's eyes it really does look like a single card. I performed this with people burning me last weekend and nobody questioned the card. Last night, I experiment with the 'Q' index to see how it looks on camera and it's very deceptive. I actually might adapt this strategy for parlor shows to give the card away as a souvenir. It was surprisingly fast and easy to execute.

Just me or is it in virtually all instances the audience/spectator never asks to keep a card and we typically just insist that they keep it as a souvenir?

You're right. They almost never ask for souvenirs. But WE want them to have them so that they'll remember us because often they'll lead to future booking opportunities.
