I'm presuming that there must be something different than Clean Thru by Lonnie Chevrie (the bill part of Clean Thru / Clear Through, where Clear Through is the finger through bill), but it sure looks the same. |

It looks pretty good to me! And it's nice to see a bill effect that works with our Canadian bills.
(This one actually USES Canadian bills in the demo -- even better!) |

Love Matthew but wasn't wild about this. I don't know the method but if it has to be done that fast, won't people just assume the bill is bending out of the way and then snapping back into position after the penetration? Even if that's not the method, if people think that it is, the effect is dead. If the bill could penetrate at the speed of Misled, that would be much better.

It looks great, just like Clean Thru (shown at the start of the trailer for Clean Thru - Clear Through)

I can assure you that A) This has fooled everyone I have performed it for including magicians and B) It is completely different to clean thru by lonnie (other than the obvious look before the penetration happens).
I have seen (and performed) many of the bill through bill effects in my time and for it's practicality, organic nature and the fact that you are ALWAYS ready to go whenever you are asked the question "wow, you are a magician....can you show me a trick?" I rate this effect by Robert Bertrance one of my favourite effects to perform! In the tutorial I give you my handling as seen in the demo and also Robert's original handling, both have merits. Thanks everyone and remember, I always strive to present magic that is useable in the real world and impressive to the spectator. Trust me when I tell you, this is both. Cheers, MJ |

(I also bought Octopalm and that stupid bending paper clip last year so I am obviously easily fooled.) |

Hey no worries Barts185. I agree it looks similar, a few of this type of effect do. Thanks for your support with both my effects and the ones I present and also with Penguin. Totally appreciate it!

Ah - seeing as you're here, Matt: what's your accent? Neither US, Canadian nor English but a mix of all three?
(SOrry - OT). |

Thanks Ross. It is a fooler for sure. It really does baffle everyone I show it to. Did it last night at a bar while I was out with Chris Funk. It fooled him and the waitress and I did it 3 times in a row, repeat, repeat

Hey Ross,
LOL. I was born and raised in the UK, near Sheffield actually. Did not leave until I was 21. In the last 20 years it has morphed into a Matt Johnson accent Where are you in the UK? MJ |

Just my penneth worth: I have not bought this trick and do not know the method employed but tried to replicate it by doing exactly as shown on the demo video and hay presto, my note penetrates the other in a similar visual way. I will not be buying this. Sorry.

This is also a different method to Ghost Bills.
Joseph thanks man I like both too. Slackerking, I could not agree more. See, many demos these days don't show anything except flashing special effects and a few precious of anything resembling the effect. I am really happy that Penguin posted my unedited full demo for this as this is real world magic so let's see it! The explanation offers more than what you see, Robert's original handling is covered too and it's great MJ |

Hmmmm, by that you are suggesting this is not a good product? I could not disagree with you more.
As you said you will not be buying it I can presume you have not seen the product. The WHOLE product is more than just it's demo. Each to their own I suppose. MJ |
