What do you think about these moves compared to each other! Can they be used for the same?
Is one more deceptive than the other? I think that the Sylvester Pitch is more useful but I haven't played a lot with the moves yet.. And which is most convincing? Doubleyou spoke and wrote these words |

It has been said that the Flying Shuttle Pass is a much softer move and has less of a tendency to flash over the more flamboyant Sylvester Pitch.
Moves similar to the Sylvester Pitch can be found in Bobo, if you know where to look and what to look for. However, it is a clever deceit and it is best performed when close to the spectator. I would rather not explain the specific reasons for this. But let it be said that the farther away you are, the more the audience can see without changing focus, hence, the closer you stand the better. |

They are very different moves. For example with the Sylvester Pitch you can have a silver dollar in the right hand and a copper coin in the left hand (or with Dan Sylvester it could be a zucchini) whereas with the Flying Shuttle Pass that David Regal (and others) developed, you normally have identical appearing coins in each hand when the move is done.

They are in there: moves utilizing the same basic principles. There are lots of things squirreled away in that old book, just waiting to be seen through the right eyes or the right frame of mind.
Here are a couple of hints for you to help spur your quest: Bobo credited one of the moves to someone else, the other one was not. Later, if I have any time left, I will post pages or sections where they can be found. |

Actually, Dingle created something very similar to the Sylvester Pitch eons ago. I told Danny Sylvester about it a long time ago after I saw him do the Pitch and he told me that a couple of other magicians told him the same thing. He was unaware of the Dingle move, and regardless, he has taken the idea to incredible heights.

The old Mora Inertia Pass is a great move. The old billards transfers are fun too.
