I pitched in when the Darbyshire Faery kickstarter campaign was underway, and I finally got around to making one of my own. I make a tooth fairy captured in a jar that has mummified over the years. I wanted to share the results. I am still working on aging up the jar itself so it isn't completely done. But I wanted to share what I accomplished so far.

Looks very nice indeed! Of course the proof is in tasting the pudding; I'd have to see it with my own eyes to gain a true opinion. The photos look great!

An afterthought of what may be really 'COOL' ...
If possible, making a "Green Fairy" and having her in a Absinthe bottle ! Or, adding a Absinthe label to a container the "Green Fairy" is in.

I'm not sure if you can see it in the smaller pictures. But if you look close, in its left hand it's holding a tooth. There are also two other baby teeth in the jar.

Bill, it was the combination of all the Drugs & Absinthe that created the "Green Fairy" !

Tried absinthe--eh!
I'll stick to Napoleon brandy. In any case, nice mummified fae.

Moderncelt,
Very well done Sir. A darksome beauty to a truly surreal exquistite corpse. Poetry in a bottle. Godzilla, I wouldn't recommend the beasts route to the fae unless you are of the few who can tame the dragon. I enjoy that Anise spirit very much all it's own. That said, from one spirit worker to another, there are shamans in Oaxaca who seek the Sage advice of a Divinatory Spirit with a very distinct feminine nature. She to me is the true Green Fairy. Absinthe struck me as more of an Undine, just add water for madness. |
