Hi one and all.

Can anybody out there help me? I have been recently performing PK Touches, which, when done well, is brilliant, but I am under the understanding that there are other variations of the effect.

I have an idea using an I.T.R., but no doubt this idea has been used before.

If any body out there has any helpful info or knows of any literature/DVDs, etc., that can shed more light on possible techniques I could learn, I would be most grateful.

Many thanks.

Paul

The trick is old as the history of spiritualism. It is even used in the Philippines as the "Spiritual Injection" stunt. You may read the chapter Hypno Tricks in The New Encyclopedia of Stage Hypnotism by Ormond McGill. There is a similar trick there using IT.

Many people use an ITR to do PK touch work. It's extremely commonplace, and if you think about it, you really don't NEED a book or a DVD to work out how.

For two excellent examples, check out Gerry McCambridge's long PK Touches routine with two twins on his TV special, or Luke Jermay on Live with Johnny on BBC Three (tonight at 8 p.m., probably).

In the past, I've read here different people writing about their different techniques, so maybe do a search and contact those people. I love PK touches, BTW, and use it every once in a while. It's never failed me!

Hi there.

This is my first post here, but I hope this is of some use. There is a similar effect in Pat Kuff's "7" by David Acer. Check this out. I think it's really nice. Hope it helps.

I hope this doesn't sound weird, but can someone please briefly describe what a PK touch is? Thanks.

Perhaps you like the following variation which can be done immediately after revealing the first touches.

You place an ice cube in the right (or left) hand of the spectator who has kept their eyes open. After a few seconds, the spectator with their eyes still closed states that their right hand is colder than the other.

I thought I saw another variation and had to hunt through my whole library to find out who wrote it and where it was. Thankfully I remembered it was a recent publication.

There is a variation on touches by Kenton Knepper. In his Miraculous Ploys book, entitled "Touched in the head", you might want to check this out.
