I've been thinking about wearing a Lab Coat instead of my sports coat or vest.
Can anyone share their actual experience in wearing one during shows. I'm borrowing one for a few weeks to test drive it. The one I borrowed has on outside breast pockets and 2 large pockets at the left and right hand level. It also has easy access panels to my pants pockets. Thanks Harris still 2 old to know everything.

I have worn them to the children's hospital. Lots of room for stuff in the pockets. Pretty comfortable. Come in a variety of colors if you're thinking of a theme. Affordable.
Hope that helps a little. |

Thanks.
Tonight will be the first outing with the borrowed coat. The white ones are much less expensive than say the tie dye. I've found light and navy blue. What is your source for other colors? Yellow or pink would be fun. I already wear a pink sport coat at some of my gigs. Harris aka Dr. Laugh.

I can't remember where I bought mine, but this site has many colors available:
[Link removed at the request of the site owner. Please do not post a link to that site again. Thank you.] I may have purchased mine here. It goes to the red page because that's what I googled in an attempt to find the place I got mine again. I bought a burgundy one: http://www.pulseuniform.com/red-lab-coats.asp Here's another: http://www.justlabcoats.com/shop-by-color.aspx?color=Red So for 20-30 bucks you can get a fun coat to wear. Some have inner pockets which are nice. |

Thanks for the links. The first seemed too good price.
Under 10 for a non disposable coat. I will re read the information. Re: my gig wearing a lab coat. It was a good show. The coat helped the character. I even started my bit with over head Paging Dr. Laugh. I ended with a page to get me off stage.
