Today we proudly re-release Binary Code, the one trick to Fool Penn & Teller last night:

http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/3905

You can see from the Fool Us video some new presentation ideas...and see how and why it's such a deceptive trick. I'm around today to answer any questions about the trick or about my performance on Fool Us.

In the main/big part of the trick: None Smile It's all an illusion.

Now for the first part of the trick with 12 cards, there is a VERY EASY memory trick that you do. You only have to memorize four words. And again, that's only for the first part of the trick. The main/big part with half the deck...it's all an illusion of memory.

Steve, I've got to admit...I feel like a layman here...but, yes, I don't know what FASDIU means :/

Sorry! I believe Paul Cummings coined the FASDIU phrase. If it can be done FASDIU then this makes it very practical. Great effect!

What does re-release in this context mean? "Today we proudly re-release Binary Code"
Thanks!
I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death my right to say "scr*w you" if you persist. [Voltaire Smile]

I bought this when it was first available and have used it a lot. It's a great routine and I'm glad Rick was able to fool them. Rick's performance was fantastic front to back. Great job!

Means we did a new promotion of it, it had a new performance that millions of people saw, subtleties and presentation were added.

Hi Rick,
first: great perfomance! I bought the trick when it came out "the first time".

My question:
Will I recive the "subtleties and presentations" you mentioned?

Thanks,
ThoZ

Loved the performance. Smart, funny and entertaining. Also wanted to know if we will get the added subtleties and presentations.

Great Performance Rick. Congratulations.I was impressed by the fast recital of the poem at the same time as the trick was being done.
