I went to the FCM website and contacted the person in charge of the Los Angeles FCM chapter, Joe Marotta, to ask if I might attend a meeting.

Not having gotten a response yet, I'd like to know...does anybody know where they meet? I'm curious because in the event that I end up going to a meeting, I might have to take a bus because I'm just a college boy and don't have a car.

Thus I hope the "Los Angeles" chapter actually meets in the city of LA, and not the greater LA County like the valley...then again buses can be fun!

If I could interject something here in Joe Marotta's defense about why you haven't heard back from him, I have heard from a reliable source (namely from him) that he may be getting married soon. Well, he said he might be getting married in June. So, he might not be spending too much time on the computer!

Joe is a pretty reliable guy. But has been known to have computer problems from time to time.

And as Margarette says, in addition, he might just be busy with other "considerations."

On Feb. 23rd. I spent an evening with the FCM Chapter at the Magic Castle. Joe and the gang were so much fun. What a great turn out over 25 people.

I was able to give my gospel lecture and share several of my many ideas for ministering the gospel through magic.

They have invited me back on my next trip to present my magic lecture on Creating New Ideas in Magic. Of all the magicians in the world we have a direct line to the true creator. I think our magic should reflect that. Glorify God! Be creative!

You can come check it out as a guest. There is a little fee I think, around 5 bucks or so. Have you been to The Magic Castle before ?

Brad- My sincerest appologies to you for not contacting you sooner. Were you trying to reach me at my old email address? I have a new one and the one that I previously had registered on this site went bye-bye about 2 years ago. Also, I haven't logged onto The Magic Café since, well I can't remember the last time, so if you tried to PM me, I never would have seen it. Please forgive me. If you are still interested in attending the LA meetings, that would be wonderful. GlenD was correct, we meet at the Magic Castle each month. Can't get more "LA" than meeting at the Castle in Hollywood. We are there on the 4th Monday of each month. We would love to have you join us!
