I am wondering if I could get some help. I am looking for cup routines that get the final load from the cup bag sitting on the table rather than from the pocket. I have a large cup bag (made by J Riser) that will easily hold a tennis ball or lemon in addition to the cup. This is for a chop cup routine, but any cup routine that gets the final load(s) not from the pocket would be of interest. I want to learn the methods and techniques of stealing the load, not so much the cup routine.

Can be found in 21st. Century Card Magic

You need to read the Books of Wonder. The second volume details Tommy's ideas about loading a chop cup from a bag instead of your pockets. Tommy also discusses loading from a tabled bag in this 1985 Hillside, Illinois lecture:

Thanks for the help. I like Tommy Wonder's ideas. That's a great lecture he did.

You also might want to look at Dean Dill's Johnny Carson performance and Larry Jennings' Chop Cup routine.
God's grace rocks! It makes a good cups and balls routine look pretty boring in comparison.
