I know a lot of threads about binge watching things on Netflix so this is in that vein.
I spend large amounts of time traveling and the kindle is great. I have found if I get an author I like, or a character series I like I tend to start at the first novel and go through them all. Even in paperbacks I did it with Ludlum and Carl Hiaasen. (Skink is one of my all time favorite characters.) Anyhow I was wondering if it was only me? Wouldn't shock me to find out it was.

Yup, all the time. Especially when I find a great author I didn't know.

I can't have a Kindle at work and reading books tends to put me to sleep rather quickly, but I do listen to audible books everyday. I'm currently listening to the 'C.S. Lewis essay collection' at home, and 'The Martian' in the drive to and from work. Audible also has some great lectures available.

I love to read, but my problem is that I'll start a book and before I can finish it I'll come across another book that I like and start reading that one before I can finish the first one, and on and on. I buy books faster than I can read them. I counted the books in my "unread queue" the other day and there were something like 101!! I'll get to them eventually though.
PS - no kindle for me. I prefer the feel and individual personality of an actual book. Ron

I reread the entire Sherlock Holmes series last summer. Binge reading is what free time was made for.
And I love books in any format. I love my kindle, and use audiobooks to kill long journeys (as I can't stand music). A life without a library would really be unthinkable.

I love reading. Was die hard paper fan, but recently got an iPad and love it while traveling.
A while back I got hooked on Lawrence Block. A mystery writer who had the Bernie Rhodenbar series, more light hearted about a cat burglar in NYC. He also has Matthew Scudder novels about hard bitten alcoholic exNYPD detective that now does private work. Also have enjoyed Lawrence Sanders character of Archie McNally set in Palm beach. 13 novels there. I've wanted to start reading the Dexter Novels ny Jeff Lindsay as I really enjoyed the Dexter TV show. If you want historical reading, I recommend 1776. Provides great insight into revolutionary war at all levels. From General Washington to common soldiers. Will give you greater appreciation for the men who fought that war. Also just finished "Astoria" a book about how John Jacob Astor and Thomas Jefferson sought to establish a west coast outpost. Tells of two parties sent to do so, one by land and one by sea. Incredible tales of hardship and survival.

Imgic- I have always been a major fan of Lawrence Block. When he was writing his Matt Scudder series I'd buy them the day they first appeared in book stores.

A small library?
I don't even have a traditional Kindle, it is an app on my tablet and my phone. Otherwise when I am gone for 5 months at a time it would be an astronomical amount of books to carry.
