Recently I obtained a stage effect Cube through wand, and I wonder if anyone has seen this effect before.

It is made in Holland by a very clever maker called Rebru. Probably in the 1990s.

Here is a video of this effect:

And well yes, that's me performing this effect.

Nope, never seen anything like that before, looks like a real puzzler.

A very puzzling trick and the props are beautiful. I am sure if this were available on the open market, it would be a big seller.

I've not seen this version of the effect before, but it reminds me of a Tenyo effect called Crystal Cleaver.

With the Crystal Cleaver, the "sword" was inserted above the box and pushed down into it.
(I wanted to make one of those that used a 260 balloon.)

This one looks like it would have to work on a different principle.

That's quite good. After 4 viewings I think I get how it works, and if I'm right, it's very clever.

The prop is a bit big for me, but I absolutely love the effect. I would like to see this put out in a micro-magic version.

Magic Wagon, are you seeing this?
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

I made a small effect like this a while back as a gift for a magician friend, I'll see if I can borrow it back and post some pics if anyone's interested.
Don't know if it used the same method but am guessing so.

I find this trick also very convincing, I know how it works, would really be a good idea for a Magic Wagon implementation,

let us be positive and we will be surprised some time. The size also disturbs me with this version and it can still be perfected

If I recall, Paul Lembo made a version of this.

There is also a smaller version of the same effect. Here is a demo.

To me, the larger version looks much better than the smaller version given wand ratio. But maybe that is magish eyes vs lay eyes.
