I found an instructional video on YouTube on how to make this puzzle(linked below). It's two wooden plates with four metal rods going between them, three forming a triangle on the outside and the fourth as a center piece. On the fourth is a brass ring that sits inside of the others. The goal is to remove the ring. In the video comments the person says he created this puzzle though I swear I've seen it before. I cannot find it anywhere online. Would anyone have any leads? Thanks in advance.

Similar to the Escape from Alcatraz puzzle. I never cared for the Alcatraz puzzle because the solution involves banging the puzzle on a hard surface. When I hand someone a puzzle the last thing I want them to do is to bang it on the table. I tell them "no force" so it would be wrong for me to give them a puzzle where banging is required.
The puzzle in your video doesn't require that kind of force so it would be acceptable for my restaurant work but I think it might be too simple. I mean clearly in order to remove the ring that center bar is going to have to move. http://www.amazon.com/Infinite-Innovatio......00S0X70M |

Thank you Mike. I knew the other puzzle existed, though I haven't seen it in a while or handled it (thus, I was also not aware of the solution). I guess this carat ion is unique. Thanks again for the information.
