In the June 2002 issue of Genii magazine, Barry published what I believe is an outstanding "impromptu book test."

Has anyone read this or performed it? Any comments?

Called "Subtle Influences."

Th spectator choses a magazine out of a group, inserts a business card into the pages of a chosen magazine, choses either left or right page, draws a large imaginary "X" with their finger from corner to corner, where the X meets, draw an imaginary two-inch circle and concentrate on the picture or word there.

When the business card is turned over, there is written a triple prediction: The book chosen, the page selected, and the picture!

With less than a minutes prep, pretty cool!

I ordered this issue of Genii. I will give a review after I will try this effect out.
