So, I'm not 100% sure where this would be posted, but since my order was for the How to Cheat at Cards book/download, I figure I'd start here.
On the 13.10.15, I paid £50 (+ £6 shipping) for the HTCAC book from Daniel Madison's website. Initially, the order didn't arrive within a week, so I sent an email to check if the order was okay (note: I live in the UK, where he quotes the delivery time withing 3 days). Didn't receive a reply. So a week later, I sent another email. Once again no reply. Now, nearly 3 weeks on, I've sent many emails, to a variety of his emails, attempted to ring the number given on his website (which does not exist anymore so the voicemail says),and even commented on facebook and instagram posts he makes (all of which were deleted from his posts within an hour) all with no reply. If anyone has any other way to get into possible contact with him, let me know, but my next option is claiming for a section 75 refund through my credit card, but if that doesn't work, I may end up taking him to a small claims court. Figured I'd post this to inform others of this experience, and be extra cautious when ordering from his website. |

Hi. I am having the same issue. I placed an order on the 16/10/15 for £100, after no response from the website regarding my order I have sent several emails and tried to call the number - which is not active.
I emailed ellusionist, who told me they have let him know about my order. Its unfortunate as I have a lot of respect for him and I can appreciate he may be busy, but I have had nothing back after endless attempts. If I do not have the order within 4 weeks I too will have no choice but to pursue other avenues. I would really appreciate if anyone can provide any assistance in this. |

I have just received an email from Daniel informing me that he has been out of office for some time, and will look into my problem immediately.
I suggested to him that an automated "out of office" message is used in future to avoid confusion. I'll keep you updated. |

Alright, and then how would I know when that's happened?
Not when it's been 3/4 weeks since I ordered the item, with no response from 5/6 emails, a phone number that doesn't exist any more, and any form of contact made through social media deleted by the author? I'd genuinely like to know when I'd know I've been 'scammed for sure'. |

Mine has still not arrived, I got two emails, saying he was looking into it, but that's where it ended. Had nothing back as yet.

I emailed ellusionist who have told me that he has now shifted control over to new management but did not give me any details. To add to the confusion all contact information has been removed from his site. I literally have no idea what to do. It was £100 that is now 33 days late! and with no communication. I will keep you posted on any progress I get. To be clear for everyone else, reading this. This is not slander or judgement against him or the company. It is pure fact of a situation we all hope to get resolved as well as making other people aware of the issue.

Ok so today I have received my order! Credit where it is due he also gave me a signed deck! This gesture means a lot as he has taken the time to do this and recognised & understood the issue. All respect to him and seems like everything is back on track. Matter closed.

I believe mine has arrived too, but I won't know for sure until I go home tomorrow.

Wouldn't it be a little bit ironic if people ended up being scammed while trying to buy material to learn about cheating at cards? Never trust a cheat :-p
