I do not think there are specific thread talked about this.

In general, EMC series by Luis De Matos did a great job in the past 5 years after L&L end of their production.
Besides 3 consecutive years of Essential Magic Conference is a must have, it also inlcude many world's best magician DVD set including (in no particular order):
The late Rene Lavand
Luis De Matos
Lennart Green
Miguel Puga
David Williamson
Miguel Angel Gea
Dani Daortiz
Woody Aragon
Joshua Jay
Paul Daniels

Also they have others DVD with gimmicks including like Gaten Bloom and Richard Wiseman just to name a few.

Besides, BBM (Big Blind Media) also include some excellent work including John Bannon, David Solomon and many others.

Last but not least the Buck Twins from USA did some work in DVD release like Red Mirror by Helder Guimaraes, Bill Goodwin, The Hollingworth Collection, and of course, Mnemonica Miracles by Juan Tamariz. They also did a documentary Our Magic which you might found important to pay attention as well.

Jon Allen's 3-DVD set, Connection, was one of the best, IMO. Lots of great routines and performing insights, and he really is a pro at keeping an audience engaged. http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/3349
