Hello everyone,
So although I don't know Michael personally.. He sent me a copy of his pdf for my 21st birthday a few days ago. Even though I was slightly intoxicated.. I could tell that this was a gem! I am in love with this routine.. It looks exactly like a real demonstration of incredible memory. You memorize the whole deck in seconds, after the participant shuffles.. TWICE. And cuts the deck.. TWICE. It looks ridiculously fair.. Highly recommend this! http://www.penguinmagic.com/p/6351 -Dustin |

So is this two riffle shuffles and two cuts?
Pick a card, any card at all. Just don't pick a RED spade.

Guys, I told Michael the other day that I perform this every time I can. When I first read it, I had to think about this visually in my head, and when I realized this would work after two literal shuffles and two cuts (by the spectator), I was hooked. Sometimes, you will be off a card or two, but I actually thinks it makes the effect's total impact more powerful.
To me, and I told Michael this, this has to be presented as an exercise in brain memory power, not magic or mentalism. As for the wife test, it passed it big time. I have nothing to gain from this, but I don't care who knows that I really, really like this. Haven't seen the final manuscript, but I will carry this routine with me and use it many times in the coming years, and I am already toying with a theme of routines using memory, brain power (and combine it with my work on day at any date type stuff).

How does this compare to the memory man.

Wow, even with just one shuffle the memory man routine looks really good. If any of my poker buddies see me do it though, I'll never get invited to any games again.
