Ordered it last night. Looking forward to receiving the gimmick. Though I'm not really a flash paper person but, I do have a firewallet as my everyday wallet. I may end up utilizing that some way. Just need to come up with an excuse to bring it or to use it.
I only briefly skimmed the videos late last night. But I definitely liked what I saw!

Very unlikely. It'll be an E special I would hazard a guess.

I have been a fan of Kieron's work since discovering his first release, Chaotic. I perform Lollypop in my working set as an opener and it always gets fantastic reactions, without fail!
When I heard about that element was due for release I knew that I had to have it. So like a child awaiting Christmas I patiently waited for the release at 5pm GMT yesterday. Within minutes of it going live I had placed my order and started the downloads which I started to watch immediately.
I should add that I have been burned a good few times in the past by getting caught up on the hype train and spending my money on what was essentially a pipe dream with a fancy trailer. Element certainly isn't that, this is Kieron's professional working repertoire that he earns his living with. Not only that I know lots of other magicians in the UK earn their living by performing his stuff.
I usually wait for the reviews to roll in these days before parting with my cash. This time I made an exception and bought it on trust. I was not disappointed!
What follows are my thoughts on Element, warts and all.
Let me get what I think are the negatives out of the way first.
First of all I found it a little frustrating that the gimmick was made here in the UK only to be shipped to the US until I made my purchase and now have got to wait for it to come back to the UK again. It's not that big an issue but in all honesty I found it annoying.
Secondly, I found the quality of the filming a bit amateurish at times. The camera work is out of frame and out of focus on several occasions and the sound levels are a little all over the place at times. However the flip side is that it is actually quite refreshing not to have the over the top movie trailers, dodgy edits and over egged reactions from the public. It has a certain charm and honesty about it.
Finally, there are certain things that are repeated in both volumes which I felt was unnecessary.
With the negatives out of the way, let me move on to the good stuff...
The gimmick looks absolutely gorgeous and for me the fact that you can clip it on your belt is brilliant as I already struggle with pocket space when performing. Each one is handmade by J M Authentics and knowing Jordan's work will be of the highest quality and standard. When I say "looks" I mean from what I have seen on the video. Obviously I will have to wait for mine to be delivered across the pond.
Now let's get down to the material. What stands out for me personally is as follows...
Volume one;
The Element production: which is just phenomenal. This is the effect that was on national TV here in the UK and was performed by Jamie Raven it blew everybody away. You turn fire into water and then water into ice that you then leave your participant holding. Making a card return to the top of the deck 16 times is okay but this looks like real magic.
The card in Ice: As above but with the added bonus of making a selected card appear in the block of ice. How good is that!?
The master classes in using flash paper and sleeving: I had no idea of how powerful sleeving could be before watching this. You can use it for productions, vanishes and switches and it looks as fair as fair can be. I think that it is going to takes lots of practice to get down but is well worth the effort and Kieron goes into detail on how to perform it beautifully.
Volume 2
Lollypop 2.0: As I mentioned earlier, I perform the original version of Lollypop as an opener in my working set. 2.0 is the evolution and how I am likely to be performing it from now on.
Card in Candy bar: Again, absolutely brilliant and structured in such a way to seem absolutely impossible. Your participant chooses a card in the fairest possible manner, has the opportunity to change their mind several times, the card is then torn into quarters, they are given one of them to hold on too. You then make the three other pieces 'vanish' (though I will probably use an alternative method to Kieron's in all fairness) and the they open a candy bar that they have had since the beginning, break it open and find the three pieces restored inside of it. They then take the fourth piece and find it matches with the rest of the card. It's brilliant!
Flame: You take a flame and hold it at your finger tips as though you have mutant powers then with a click of the fingers it's gone! I kept seeing this being done throughout the video and every time I saw it thought "I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE!". The method is simple, low tech (utilising gimmicks that you will almost certainly already have) and looks amazing. you will be doing this!
There is a load of other stuff on there but the above is what really stood out to me and what I will be performing.
Final thoughts...
Why are you still reading this, go and buy it! Seriously, you will not regret it.

Not that big of an issue but you still wont buy? Why would you spite yourself like that just because it will take a few extra days to get?

This tempts me for sure. One Eyed Jack, I had the same reaction re: sleeving when I watched Rocco's Penguin lecture. I highly recommend you check it out if you're feeling that at the moment!

I would suggest that this release would be far more popular here at the cafè if it wasn't an E release.

The power of the Café is highly overstated in the real world. Lots of Café members may dislike E but elsewhere they're a very viable place to release products as they're one of the largest. That's not saying people are wrong about the company just that the majority of purchasers aren't even in here.
