Thought I'd post something a little different. A friend of mine Liam Montier the other day was talking to me about an ACAAN that's he'd stumbled across. It is created by the awesome David Britland and is found explained on his blog. (Entry Monday December 17th 2007) Now I have learned countless methods for the ACAAN but there was something about this version that made me smile and I knew instantly I wanted to try it out. However, I didn't know where to pick up the deck needed. Liam recommended a new bespoke gaff deck company called www.GaffTastic.com
Now I do not know the site owner Stee and I was not asked in anyway to write this post. I just loved the service and thought brining it to the attention of my fellow magicians would be a nice thing to do! I ordered a Reverse Svengali and a fresh Invisible Deck from them. Not only was the service great and they were here the next day, butt he care taken in the production of these decks is great. Each one hand made and the attention to details is brilliant. They even double coat the invisible decks they use to make sure they last long and perform expertly. The packaging on the decks is slick and they are incredibly flexible on requests. If you need a certain card force or certain back design, I'm sure they would cater. To top it all of, the price is the best! It's nice to see a new company, making magic props in a traditional hand made fashion with the care and skill of our predecessors. And from what Liam was telling me, they are already producing gaff decks for some pretty awesome names in the industry! I highly recommend checking them out for your Gaff Deck needs! www.gafftastic.com Jamie Daws
