This is listed on the Hocus Pocus website. It looks and sounds amazing.
The thing that really stands out to me is that the key is signed and it uses a normal looking key chain instead of those strange key cases used in traditional ring flights. That and that you can carry it with you all the time. Has anyone gotten this yet? It says it is available the beginning of March. |

Has not come out yet. Not due until second week of March (this month).

Seems like a great new and different method, of Ring Flight!
If the reviews are good, it will be on my next buy list! Gerard |

I dig some of enchantments stuff, particularly Dreamweaver, but this effect leaves a lot to be desired. Nothing happens that can’t be done with good old fashion sleight of hand. By the way, whatever happened to the art of magic? Everyone is looking for the next big gimmick and easy solution. I feel that we as a community are losing our sense of history and art as a result of the overproduction of good and bad gimmicked effects.
Just my 2 cents. |

How would you go about to link it to the key ring just with sleight of hand.
While I agree with you that many magicians are going for the easy way, I don't agree with those that don't even do one gimmicked effect. Magic has to be both.

The ad said it would be out within the first two weeks of March, so I was hoping it might have come out early.
But since it won't be available for another week, I guess this will teach me patience. |

Niva,
You link it to the key ring using a simple switch. The video of archangel doesn't really look any better then a switch would. |

But the key is signed.

I’ll have to check out the video again. Didn’t catch that part. Not sure it’s anymore amazing to a layman though.

This is really, really, good. If you liked Dreamweaver, you'll love this. I'm waiting for the final manuscript before I post my thoughts but I saw an early taped description of this by Nick and it is very good and something I will always carry and use. The video, as is standard in magic, just doesn't do this justice. I was fortunate enough to see the whole thing and the description. (I even included an idea, which I think Nick is including.) Nick is a real stickler for perfection so he'll do a great job on this item I'm sure. Also, I see a lot of magicians so rarely get fooled but Nick consistently fools me with his creations. This is just a solid, usable, strong piece that as long as you have your keys you'll be able to always have magic you can do. Don't pass this by too quickly based on a clip, speculation, etc. It looks great and the methodology is very clever. Again, this is a workhorse routine that will really leave an impression when you are asked to "do something".

I'll give more consideration to purchasing this after reading this thread. It all sounds very positive, but like many, the video left me cold.
Now my mind might be changed.
The difficult must become easy, the easy beautiful and the beautiful magical.

I got Archangel today. Wow. If you liked Dreamweaver you'll love Archangel. As the tagline says, "a complete act in your pocket." What is really great is that you get a killer 3-phase routine that you will always have with you as long as you carry your keys. Nick sent me the complete video (not the trailer) and fooled me badly over and over again. If you do Archangel and walk away they have to question if you are "real". Each phase gets stronger and really packs a punch. As with Dreamweaver, Nick is a real perfectionist so the instructions include all of the details and nuances. It's all here. Highly recommended!

I got mine today as well. It looks very nice and I am pleased with my purchase. When I get a little time and some keys to try it out I will post a more thorough review.

Got mine today. I didn't had a chance to work on this yet, but I know I'll be using this. It is very clever and commercial. The difficulty level is that of a beginner. It'll take some time to get the whole routine down to second nature with patter and all though. I think those who understand the potential of this routine will appreciate its value. I'll follow up after I put some time into it.
