I own coin in nose...equally cool/gross. Confused why this has a gimmick. Is this literally going up the nose and the instructions are about good nasal care.
The coin trick was scary because it could potentially get stuck but I don't imagine this would. |

There is a reason why there is a gimmick. Of course a sleight version is also explained for those that still want to perform this.

Hey everyone, as The Greek mentioned the geek version of SCIN does require a gimmick to perform the effect. The DVD also comes with sample gimmicks and we show a number of variations and options so you can pick what works best for you.
If anyone has any questions about SCIN feel free to PM me, I'm always happy to help! Cheers Phil Knoxville

Hi All,
Just thought I would chime in here, I received SCIN a few days ago, after seeing the trailer I came up with a routine I wanted to do using this as the revelation and man did it go well..... SCIN does take a bit of getting used to, but it sits quite comfortably now and I love the fact that I can produce a thought of card from a completely strange place. I have the spectator think of a card and change thier mind a few times ( people familiar with my own work will know what I'm talking about ) after they settle on a card I have them imagine themselves transmitting the card to me..... after a few moments I mention that from that I can make the thought they have just sent me into a reality..... I place my finger on my temple and slowly move my finger to the edge of my nose telling the spectator that I am dragging the image from my mind.... I now slowly remove and reveal a card from my nose........its their thought of card. Its cringe worthy and exciting at the same time for spectators and definitely some thing they will remember and talk about. If you love geek magic like I do its well worth picking up, their is a version using sleight of hand for the not so brave but I'm sure curiosity will get the better of you at a later stage. Well done Phil and the MagicTao crew All the best R |

Looks really disgusting - I love it
Is there a chance to damage anything up in your nose? So if you already have sometimes problems with your nose/sinuses could this be a problem? |

Cardbiker I could say the same for sponge ball magic. Just because I don't get it, it doesn't mean it is bad magic.

Even if you offer the card to your volunteer they won't want it, which I always do as it gets a laugh. Since filming SCIN however I've come up with a really simple way that enables you to hygienically give them their card as a souvenir. If you have the DVD & would like me to share this with you feel free to PM me.
Cheers PK

Oh definitely! At least one of the handlings taught on the DVD will be perfect for this. You could perform the classic retained corner routine, or even combine it with Ravi Mayer's excellent Enlighten. That would really mess with people's heads!
