A review of 'SCIN' here, posted on Facebook by Tom Mullenger aka Jester Styles and reposted with his kind permission.
"SCIN I don’t know Phil Knoxville so I’m not just bigging up my mates, I'm just really excited about this not just as a routine but as a bench mark. First of all the effect itself is wicked, I love the routine! The DVD teaches a few different handlings and ways to achieve the effect. If you want to perform this trick.. this DVD will not let you down. Simple step by step instructions make it easy to learn! PLUS! Learn Human Block head (aka Nail in !@#$%^& face!) on this DVD as a bonus!? Another exciting thing is this is by far the best produced “freak” magic DVD I’ve seen. It’s great to see the same quality going into a smaller release like this as would in a larger release, nice work Costas Damianou [Magic Tao]".

Not that I'd ever do it (not my style!), but it does look very strong to anyone who may be watching. Great combination of elements. Good job Tom!

First I would do signed card to mouth and then Explain: I do it again. let them choose a card again (no need to sign the card again imo, then open your mouth, nothing, sorry but the trick went wrong, then produce the card out of your nose.
i would not recommend this to anyone. I know what I say, because I do the nail up nose since 25 years. you have really to get use of it, and don't harm yourself, what I did when I was a teenager. what about the printing color on the cards? does it harm you in any way? is that covered on the dvd? just asking, because before I do the nail stunt, I disinfect the nail. I highly recommend to clean up your nose perfectly before doin anything like this, otherwise there could be a little disgusting surprise sticking on the end of the card

A great video review and rundown of SCIN here by Chis Ramsey in THE SHIFT!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FM1tx3oftKU Here's some excerpts: "There are many devious routines that Phil's come up with, this is not only a card in nose which is impressive, this is a signed card in nose! He's got multiple ways of achieving that, I think this is a great project. Obviously Phil's put a lot work into this. If you like that sort of comedy magic, or if you simply want to freak someone out, if you're a fan of Wayne Houchin's 'Thread' this might be right up your alley. I really enjoyed the DVD, the explanations were very thorough and concise, if this is in your ballpark then check it out!". Some great comments too, it seems there's a lot of magic geeks out there! "SCIN shocked me!! It was real magic. Really love it!" "Absolutely love SCIN!" "What effect can be more awesome than pulling a card out of your nose?" "SCIN is a legendary trick" "SCIN is epic" "If you love freaking people out, this is the one" "SCIN is on another level" "[SCIN] shows how magic has no bounds or limits" "SCIN is a !@#$**g great idea" "SCIN is just hilarious and awesome."

SCIN is amazing. I perform Block head a lot but this is totally original and adds a really unique routine to the effect.
i would have liked some live performances and some visual diagrams of how the block head works and why i don't think this needs to be signed I don't think it adds any more to the effect as is but overall IF you like this effect buy it and if you can do blockhead buy this it really does a nice routine people can get involved in. i'll give this 4 stars!! "SCIN may be the ultimate geek effect that combines geek/gross out magic with playing cards. If you think that it would be cool to pull a card from your nose... This is the DVD to get."
