One of my favorites is the trailer for Steppenwolf:

If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

This one, because it faked me out massively;

I knew Disney was doing a Tarzan film, but I also knew it was going to be animated so I couldn't figure out what this thing was.
Then they said; "And he has a pretty good theme song too." and they went into the song and I freaked.
"There's no time to lose," I heard her say.
"Catch your dreams before they slip away."
"Dying all the time, lose your dreams and you could lose your mind.
Ain't life unkind?"

Given that a trailer's job is to make people want to see the movie, most of them are really pretty good. There is one that stands out to me as just plain awful though. By awful I mean rather than doing its' job, it made me positive I would NOT see the movie. It was Neil Simon's "The Marrying Man." Good cast, but the trailer ran over 4 minutes, and it was a long 4 minutes.

I saw that trailer in front of another movie, and the theater screwed up and showed it twice in a row. I couldn't resist yelling, "One more time!" after the second showing.
Magic is like Science,
Both are fun if you do it right!

Haha! Those re-do's are fun. Shows you how effective music can be in creating a mood.

Here's another one of my favorite trailers:
