Yep. That goes to the elite- the arms dealers and manufacturers, and the politicians who work for them.

The elite figured out you don't even need to give out bread and circuses to the masses. Just gift a random plebe with some bread and tell the rest they can get some too, if they behave and are lucky. Keeps them from starting the revolution, so it's a win for the elite.

Edward Tipton, Multi-State Lottery Association's former security director, won at the lottery (several different lotteries) at least three or four times!

Powerball "sales have soared despite a scandal that rocked the organization that runs the game - a five-year-old investigation into jackpot fixing in one state that grew to include at least four others. In the end, a Multi-State Lottery Association security expert was convicted of fraud and sentenced to a decade in prison and the man who ran Powerball since it began was quietly put on leave."

Make America Great Again! - Trump in 2020 ... "We're a capitalistic society. I go into business, I don't make it, I go bankrupt. They're not going to bail me out. I've been on welfare and food stamps. Did anyone help me? No." - Craig T. Nelson, actor.

I'd pull 2 yrs of my current living expenses out and then invest and live off the interest after that. In a perfect world that is.

I'd most likely plunge headlong into a downward spiral of gluttonous, luxury living and eventually end up broke or murdered by a conniving family member.

Reminds me of what the old pauper said when asked how he lost his fortune, "I spent it all on hard liquor, loose women and fast cars... the rest I spent foolishly."

A couple days ago, Fox 5 ?? out of Vegas I think, Interviewed a guy in line filling out a ticket. She asked what he would do with all the money if he won and his reply was "Hookers and Coke" - It embarrassed the heck out of her leaving her almost speechless but it made funny TV on national news.

A mathematician? A lottery ticket? Do you dare to show your face in public again?

I used to work with a gentleman who had a friend who would always buy two lottery tickets . . . with the same numbers.

His reasoning was that if he won and someone else did too, he would get ⅔ instead of only ˝.

Sounds like the hoary story of the mathematician who always smuggled a gun in his carry-on luggage. He figured that there was a one in a million chance of there being a gun smuggled on board, but only a one in a trillion chance of there being two.
