Been chilly in Florida, but it's warming up now.

Not true.

According to some, geo-engineering is a thing.

This just in: 2015 was the warmest year since modern record keeping began.

Of course, part of the credit/blame goes to El Nino. But that doesn't quite explain the whole story.

According to some, such as the USA government, geo-engineering is a thing as a matter of fact. But why do we need two threads to talk about the weather is a mystery.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

Not such a mystery if you understand sarcasm.

And record keeping from 1880 outlining the past 136 years is the KEY sentence. To base an accusation of Global Warming on only 136 years is laughable. Not to mention the accuracy/precision of the instruments used to measure the temps in 1880-1900's. What a joke. But I understand this is hard for some to comprehend and relate 136 years to 4.5 BILLION years.

Why are you arguing against something no one said? Feeling insecure?

The case for AGW involves significantly MORE than 136 years of temperature.

The joke, is your failure to appreciate the depth of the evidence.

Shouldn't we relate 136 years to 6,000 years?

Or, perhaps your blogger could be less lazy and check into the nature of the archived document.

Please note: the estimate for the baseline global temperature used in this study differed, and was warmer than, the baseline estimate (Jones et al., 1999) used currently. This report has been superseded by subsequent analyses. However, as with all climate monitoring reports, it is left online as it was written at the time.

The global average temperature of 62.45 degrees Fahrenheit for 1997 was the warmest year on record, surpassing the previous record set in 1995 by 0.15 degrees Fahrenheit

You actually seem to prefer any statement that supports your bloated opinions.

You were happy to call the blogger's accusation a fact. When it turns out to be so much hot air, you change the topic.

No one but God knows the answer to that. We can only go by what scientists say who unfortunately are human, not divine, and are not perfect. So to say with 100% accuracy that the Earth is 4.5 billion years old cannot be classified as a fact. It's a fact with our human studies and human developed instrumentation used to draft theories but again, humans have developed these processes who we all can agree are not and never will be perfect. And even if you did compare 136 years to 6,000 years- 136 is still miniscule.

As far as Randwill's stupid/childish comment, yes we do know the Earth is not flat since this was able to be actually "observed" and seen with our own eyes.
