The European Union entered a Brave New World of Bank Bail-ins at the start of 2016.
http://blogs.reuters.com/hugo-dixon/2016......ail-ins/ It seems to me a Bank Bail-In game is the opposite of bankruptcy, because the troubled bank can steal their creditor’s money to keep afloat, as opposed to being liquidated and paying their creditors off. The world is a stage and the Brave New World play opened in 2001 and it will end in 2101 when complete. Such is life.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.

I'll be long gone by then, so I guess we just leave the mess for our kids.
And their kids. And their kids

Those who live through the change are always last ones to notice it. In any event one is taking a risk putting large amounts of money into banks and the bail ins have already started here in the EU. I think the FED have also just declared no more bail outs which leads to bail ins.
