Just ordered it.
Looks pretty straight forward, as to "what it is". Should be an interesting read, I'm looking forward to it This seems like a more organic/organized approach, to psychological mentalism presentations. As opposed to (what I sometimes fall into), which is much more piecemeal. And fragile, since I know my limitations lol. Anyway, hopefully some kind of real input will be provided, once I actually read it lol.

Can anyone tell me what the word "organic" means? I am not particularly asking what it means to you, nor for a dictionary definition. I am asking what it's consensual operational meaning is supposed to be AS so many people now use it.
A part of me suspects that it is simply jargon, masquerading as a very meaningful term with great explanatory power. But I would profit from being proved in error. Thanks, George |

George, maybe some real life interactions with other adults can satisfy this query?

George-
A routine is organic if I can perform it without ingesting any artificial chemicals. In other words, it's no fun to perform. Seriously, the term seems to be used lately as a synonym for "natural." |

To me organic just means natural.

I think when a presentation, and/or object, has a reason for being.
In that place, time, and context. Then it falls into the organic catagory. But...good God. I didn't use a truly empty word like "issues" lol That would have not been organic.

Yeah. Times Square and 42nd Street, a great place before they cleaned it up and ruined everything.

To me organic means that each constituent part of something looks like it grew *naturally* out of other parts, so as to give the effect of an inseperable and integrated whole, with the constituent parts still remaining observable. Think of a tree.

The police in NYC have a feud going on with the mayor, so they have been slacking off on their duties. The dealers are back in Hell's Kitchen, but I've yet to see any Monte mob or nut workers.

I used to live, and work as a medic, on the deuce lol.
It used to be grimmy, but that's exactly the way God intended it imo

I often peruse Psychology 101 texts and Psychology Today--sometimes academic articles--for inspiration. I look forward to reading this material. The preview seems to indicate a little different approach than Derren Brown and his copycats.
