It's award time again.. you know, the Emmys, the Oscars, the Trickies, and a whole bunch of other top pick lists.
Here in the magic world, one item has made on all the pick of the year lists. about.magic.com. named it the #1 magic release of 2015... Of the Magic Magazine 250 products reviewed, that same item made it on their top pick list as well. It was second runner up on the Trickies awards from Vanishing Ink... Every review has been 'over the rainbow'. Doc Eason's Card under Glass project has emerged as one of the most significant contributions to the craft. It is so much more than what the title tersely states. Even if you never slip a card under a drink, it is a masterclass in routining, misdirection, basic card handling and audience management. This should be in every magician's library. The tricks alone are a great value but the quality of teaching knocks this into a must have. This is available at your favorite magic dealer to at www.kozmomagic.com or just pick it up from Doc at www.doceasonmagicshop.com |

Put off getting that latest flavor of the month, that newest version of Triumph, that most up-to-date method of ACAAN, that razzle-dazzle version of torn-and-restored card where the card changes color except for one piece (!?!?), the latest take on the classic force. If you don't already have it, get this 2-DVD set. There is so much insight on these DVDs that I would have to classify it as one of the top-ten general-magic DVDs of all time, even though it is ostensibly devoted to only one trick, and that's not hyperbole. Just his patter alone is worth studying as it seems so spontaneous, yet I was quite surprised at how scripted it actually is. Many good tricks and takes on tricks as well. I can't praise it enough. Highly, highly recommended.
