Seems as if they nailed his persona pretty close. You have to take the edge off this charecter to be able to stomach him.
Anyone going to go?

I haven't seen new Star Wars yet but hoping to see this movie this weekend.

I was underwhelmed with the new Star Wars.
Without spoilers, it seemed very "familiar" and reminded me a LOT of A New Hope. I mean a LOT.

No surprises here. This one will either fly or flop.
I like what I'm seeing with the sound turned off, as it seems true to the comics. But when I hear his voice, uh, I don't know. There's a disconnect for me. I loved the comic's sassy references and irreverent humor, but the voices all happened in my mind. Which isn't pretty by the way. But Reynolds' voice...hmmmm?
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

I'll certainly watch Deadpool.

Perhaps this will be a bit better if they watch the wolverine movie and don't do anything like they did with dead pool in that.
I'm pretty sure that Green Latern was a toss together thing like the fantastic four to not lose the contract rights. I'm still not sure which was worse from those two movies. |

It probably works much like any other superhero movie.

They actually have a trailer I am not going to link to because of language but it is Deadpool saying something to the effect of "from the studio that was stupid enough to sew his lips shut."
I think they may have captured his essence for me. If that is a big enough audience we will have to see.
