Years ago--perhaps as far back as the 70's--there was a comedy black-and-white magic poster on the market of a klutzy, inept magician. Does anyone know if it's available anywhere? I think one of the things it showed was a hank p--l dangling below the edge of the magician's jacket. I'm not sure, but it might have been drawn by Paul Butler. Does that ring any bells with anyone? I had the poster but lost it over time and I'd like to get another one.

I recall seeing that drawing, although not as a full size poster. It was a cartoon diagram of a magician, I think, with several cliche "essentials". It may have been printed in one of the magazines.

Steve, am I correct in remembering that the artist was Paul Butler?

Yes, I also had one of these. Many jokes and gags for magicians.

Too bad there's not an image somewhere. If there is, I can't find it.
