I have a packet trick -- NFW to be exact -- and while the cards still look new, they have become frustratingly sticky. Makes the Elmsley counts difficult and not very smooth. Is there a way to return the cards to a more slick condition? I've always just tossed decks away when they get sticky. And I could simply replace most of these cards, but I'd rather preserve them if I can. Suggestions?

Fanning Powder should do the trick. Smile

Try Zinc Stearate - Many years ago they used to use this for baby powder.

A better idea is to simply ribbon stream the cards on a close up mat over night in an air conditioned room with low humidity.
The deck should feel a lot better in the morning...a Lot better than using any powder.

Not sure what ribbon stream means. Did you mean ribbon spread?
