Roll Over Aces
Magician takes out four aces, puts them back into a fan of cards. Gives them four shuffles (face up and face down cards), then puts the deck down on the table. He turns the deck over leaving a face up pack with the ace on top. He turns the deck over again leaving another face up pack with the top card being an ace. Two more turns leaves four face up packets of cards with the ACEs on top. Spreads the remaining stock to show all cards face down. The four ace packets are Royal Flushes in proper sequence. Very visual! |

Has Ammar gone mad? Cheers

So Ammar is selling two effects, which aren't even his own for 35 big ones! I'll stick with my Dingle book, which is the same price, thanks, but is a lot more useful to me than this will ever be.

If you have a big name in magic can you just use others materials to make profit for yourself, or did Ammar and some of these other guys who are putting out purely others ideas pay the originators for the rights to the tricks? Just curious about the educate as a rookie in the biz.

WHen something is released to the public, then it's public property. I'm sure Michael Ammar doesn't claim it to be his own, and I'm sure he gives credit to the creator.

Ammar got permission from both Dingle and Cornelius for this project, just like he gets permission from (and credits) sources he uses in his other projects.

Mike always does the right thing. He's a teacher. Teachers teach.

I agree. Some guys, such as Pavel, are born creators. Some guys have a knack for selecting great routines and tailoring them to fit themselves.
Michael Ammar admits not being an originator of magic. However, he is obviously good at taking ideas, such as Roth's Chink-a-Chink, and tweaking them a little to make something better suited for his needs. Another example is when he did this with the topit and became one of the best in the world at this utility device. Personally, I'm quite glad that he's sharing his expertise through his quality teaching. |

His teaching sure helped my magic. He's so thorough and teaches the psychology as well.
Also, his shadow coins has gotten me so much work. I'm glad he's chosen to teach! This a a beautifully produced DVD. It's great to see Mike teaching card magic again. The Roll Over Aces routine is beautiful.

I have to agree that this is a very well produced DVD. Ammar is very thorough in teaching the effects (both Roll Over Aces and Marked For Life). In addition to that he also goes over the Zarrow Shuffle and also a few Ace productions (Paul Harris' Open Production, Ammar's Variation of 4 Ace Production and Beam's Choice). Roll Over Aces is way too advanced for me, but watching Ammar perform it is breathtaking.
Apart from teaching these effects, Ammar gives a long introduction to Roll Over Aces. This is a great DVD. |

I just want to respond to something loowhochan said. I think it's amazing at a time where it seems so many people overstate their skills, someone isn't afraid to state their skill level, or understate it. Good for you, that is the key to getting better and more efficient. If you aren't there now, you'll get there!!
Just wanted to drop a couple pennies. Joey
