Heh 93 views but no one seems to know anything about this -- maybe too new?

I wouldn't touch it, seems like a scam to me. I've spent enough time on the internet to know what types of products should be avoided, and this one raises a lot of red flags.

Aaron Fisher doesn't scam. He might email you a lot if you consent, but scam would be over-stating it. As for the effect or sleight, I haven't seen it. Too much else to learn and practice.

Thanks. I have had Aaron products in the past and would 100% concur he is not a scam in any manner -- he seems to be a very nice and sincere guy. I was just hoping someone had bought the CD and could review it as it looks interesting to me.

I feel like I should clarify that I don't really think that this product is a "scam", but rather that it's being oversold. I'll show you a couple of examples and then explain my reasoning.
"I want to share with you one of my most cherished secret 'moves'." I can only assume that the sleight he describes is the F.P. since he mentions it during the step-by-step process later on. The way he describes this as his "closely guarded secret" comes across as disingenuous. The F.P. is by no means a closely guarded secret, as evidenced by the large number of YouTube tutorials on the subject. "It takes the 'sleight' out of 'sleight of hand' and makes amazing coin magic all but 'self working'." This is by no means a self-working sleight as he describes it. When using the F.P., you need to focus on maintaining openness while still being aware of any angle-sensitivity that you might have. Even when talking more generally about ungaffed coin magic, it is definitely not self-working. The notion that you can astonish spectators "in just one week or less" is simply untrue for most newcomers to coin magic. From this, I gather that this product is being targeted more towards a lay audience or people who are new to coin magic (not that this is inherently a bad thing). It's described as a way to learn "secrets 99% of all professional magicians don't know about how to make all of your technique easy to do and incredibly deceptive", which is being dishonest in my opinion. Overall, this description of the product would benefit from focusing less on its effectiveness/bargain value and talking more about the actual effect and teaching style. If you're going to tell me "Do NOT pick up another trick until you see this plan", then I'd appreciate a better description of what I'm getting. It's not very helpful when only the creator can vouch for the product's effectiveness. TL;DR: there are some disingenuous statements made about the product and there's not a lot of discussion about the effect/routine you're getting. I would personally avoid purchasing it until a clearer description of the product is given, either by the creator or by a reviewer. |

Nothing disingenuous at all. The video for the coin vanish he touted was freely available to Reel Magic subscribers; he wasn’t selling it so there was no reason for him to market it falsely. And it's not just a FP. It is an effect that I've used in the past - not new for me or anyone who performs coin magic regularly. But to his almost exclusively card magic audience I'm sure this stuff is new and very useful.
I also have Aaron's Coin Magic Series that he has been advertising lately. Got it last summer. Nothing useless there. Of course Aaron is mostly a card magician and is not well known for his coin magic, so a lot of what I saw in the videos was extremely basic for me, though he still can manage to teach some good points on misdirection and general magic philosophy. I think you are really overstating what you think his instruction is about rather than looking into it and finding out what it is before trashing it. That's my opinion anyway. Thank you. Jim |

I think the issue (and I agree) is with the style/presentation of the website.
It comes across as one of those constant-upsell "look at what a great deal you're getting", "it'll solve every one of your problems [in this area]" websites. A quick search turns up many of this type: http://www.datingdynamics.com/dating-advice-for-men.htm which even has a slightly similar feel and fomatting. There's something about the format and content of the pages that sets of instant BS alarm bells in my mind. And I'm sure I'm not the only one. "Here's how it works", "Make miracles, today", "Do NOT pick up another trick until you see this plan!" And let's not forget how after I gave the site my email to get the free download, I got seven more emails over the next three days (more than two a day). Not a good foot to get off on. All that aside, I'm willing to trust it more because I recognize his name. So I see potential value and trustworthyness. But if I was an outsider, there's absolutely no chance I would buy it. Anyway. Back to the orginal topic at hand. Does anyone have this? I'd be curious to read reviews/thoughts about it. Is it everything his site hypes it up to be? |

This is on his website and I presume it is a taster for what is in the full course:
http://www.aaronfishermagic.com/learn-ho......in+Magic I have all the standard beginner coin DVD's and I feel that from this small sample, this is by far the best instruction of a false transfer that I have seen. It is broken down so well with so many things covered that will improve all areas of magic. But I do agree that his advertising comes over dreadfully. Loads of fad diets and fitness programs with "the secret solution to all of your problems" have websites like this. |

I took his Card Magic course the 'Miracle Method' and he had some good tutorials and tricks in it. I got inpatient with some of it though because there was so much lecture about very simple moves. Why take 15 minutes to explain a simple move when it can be taught in 5 minutes or less. Also towards the end of the lessons more marketing emails came in about joining the Conjurers Community for a monthly fee. We got if free for a little while before it switched over to it being fee based. Overall there was good value to the course.. Aaron is a patient teacher and a very nice supportive guy.
I just don't like these kind of marketing methods. ReelMagic is the only fee based service I have and it's great. |

With him I think it's more that he is really enthusiastic about magic in general, and loves to share. As mentioned before he gives a lot of stuff away. And if anyone would like to stop getting stuff from him you can always cancel it.
