Hey Guys I'm planning two road trips this summer as I mentioned in a recent post
I'll be up in the Denver area for Comic-con. I don't think I can work inside the event but I was thinking the surrounding area might be viable while the event is going on, are there any other areas in Denver that I have to check out, hot spots, places to see other buskers, anyone I should definitely try to meet up with? After the Denver trip, I'll be driving from Albuquerque NM, to Hammond, Louisiana so there's pretty much all of Texas in between. I will be stopping in Allen Tx, near Dallas to visit my Dad. I'll have some flexibility in my schedule, anything in the Dallas area worth busking, checking out, Same as the Denver questions, and same for New Orleans area. Basically if anyone has any intel, or suggestions for any of the above mentioned areas I'd appreciate it. Just trying to plan out a fun trip and have some ideas for working the areas I'll be traveling. SYOTP |

New Orleans in the Summer is dead.... Rick the Juggler and myself leave in the summer because it is super hot and uncomfortable and people are scarce. Remember, it was summer when I saw you in ABQ.

Denver has 16th street mall, but not all that busker friendly, and more homeless than tourists. Better betwould Boulder and Pearl Street Mall. It's several blocks long pedestrian mall with quite a few buskers.
I've been working in Plano north of Dallas, so not much Intel I can give. I've heard the stockyards is good tourist area, but no idea if you could busk there. There is a magic shop in McKinney about 30-40 minutes north of Dallas. They have a very nice town square that has quite a bit of shopping and restaurants....might be something there.
